Abstract
Minat siswa SMK untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi masih relatif rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar dan potensi diri terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa kelas XII di SMKN 51 Jakarta, SMKN 10 Jakarta, dan SMKN 48 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling dengan rumus Slovin, menghasilkan 105 sampel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner menggunakan skala likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisiss statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji reliabilitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji analisis regresi berganda, uji f, uji t, dan uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi motivasi belajar maka semakin kuat pula dorongan siswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Potensi diri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi, semakin berkembangnya potensi diri siswa maka semakin tinggi pula minat siswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Serta motivasi belajar dan potensi diri bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi motivasi belajar dan potensi diri maka semakin besar kemungkinan siswa untuk memiliki minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. ***** Vocational school students' interest in continuing their education to tertiary institutions is still relatively low. This research aims to determine the influence of learning motivation and personal potential on interest in continuing education to higher education among class XII students at SMKN 51 Jakarta, SMKN 10 Jakarta, and SMKN 48 Jakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The research sample was taken using a proportional random sampling technique with the Slovin formula, resulting in 105 samples. Data collection was carried out by questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis, normality test, reliability test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple regression analysis test, f test, t test, and coefficient of determination test. The results of the research show that: learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on interest in continuing education to higher education, which shows that the higher the learning motivation, the stronger the student's urge to continue their education to higher education. Self-potential has a positive and significant effect on interest in continuing education to college. The more a student's self-potential develops, the higher the student's interest in continuing their education to college. And learning motivation and self-potential together have a positive influence on interest in continuing their education to higher education, this shows that the higher the learning motivation and self-potential, the greater the possibility that students will have an interest in continuing their education to higher education.
