Abstract

Kemampuan membaca atau disebut juga dokkai dalam bahasa Jepang, sangat dibutuhkan agar kita mengetahui maksud yang hendak disampaikan melalui bacaan tersebut. Dalam pembelajaran membaca dapat diterapkan berbagai model pembelajaran. Berdasarkan tiga peringkat, metode pembelajaran yang diinginkan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran membaca yaitu diskusi, demonstrasi dan games. Oleh karena itu, peneliti bermaksud menggunakan model Cooperative Learning Tipe Course Review Horay pada pembelajaran Dokkai I di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Menurut Slavin (2005: 8) pembelajaran kooperatif adalah berbagai macam metode pengajaran di mana siswa-siswa bekerja dalam kelompok-kelompok kecil untuk saling membantu dalam mempelajari suatu materi pelajaran. Selanjutnya, menurut Shoimin (2014: 54) Course Review Horay adalah salah satu pembelajaran kooperatif dengan cara mengelompokkan siswa dalam kelompok-kelompok kecil. Pembelajaran ini menggunakan suatu pengujian pemahaman siswa dengan menggunakan kotak yang diisi dengan soal yang diberi nomor untuk menuliskan jawabannya. Siswa yang mendapatkan tanda benar berteriak horay atau yel-yel lainnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektif atau tidaknya mata kuliah Dokkai I setelah diterapkan model Cooperative Learning Tipe Course Review Horay dan untuk mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan dari penggunaan Cooperative Learning Tipe Course Review Horay. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan pre-eksperimental dengan menerapkan one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Universitas Negeri Jakarta dengan sampel mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Dokkai I kelas A yang berjumlah 20 orang. Instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah tes berupa pretest dan posttest dan non-tes berupa angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, nilai rata-rata kelas pada saat pretest yaitu 60,45 dan mengalami peningkatan pada posttest menjadi 79,5. Setelah melakukan uji efektivitas diketahui bahwa nilai thitung pada penelitian ini yaitu 3,46 kemudian ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% yaitu sebesar 2,024 . Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa (thitung > ttabel) yang berarti terdapat efektivitas penggunaan model Cooperative Learning Tipe Course Review Horay dalam pembelajaran Dokkai I. Hasil interpretasi angket menyatakan sebagian besar respon mahasiswa positif. The ability to read or also called dokkai in Japanese, it is very required so that we know the purpose that is to be delivered through the reading. In learning to read can be applied to a variety of learning models. Based on the three ratings, the method of learning desired of students in learning reading is discussion, demonstrations and games. Therefore, the researcher intend to use the model of Cooperative Learning Type Course Review Horay learning Dokkai I Study in the Program of Japanese Language Education State University of Jakarta. According to Slavin (2005: 8) cooperative learning is a variety of teaching methods in which students work in small groups to help each other in learning a subject matter. Furthermore, according to Shoimin (2014: 54) Course Review Horay is one of cooperative learning by grouping students in small groups. This learning using a testing students understanding by using boxes filled with matter of a given number to write down the answer. Students who get the correct shout horay or slogans other. The purpose of this study is to find out the effectiveness of the courses Dokkai I once applied the model of Cooperative Learning Type Course Review Horay and to know strengths and weaknesses of the Cooperative Learning model Course Review Horay type. The method used in this research is experiment method. The design used pre-experimental by applying the one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this research is the Students of Study Program of Japanese Language Education State University of Jakarta with a sample of students who take courses Dokkai I class A which amounted to 20 people. The instrument in this research is a test in the form of pretest and posttest and non-test questionnaire. Based on the analysis of research datathe average value of the class at the time of the pretest, namely 60,45 and increased on the posttest to be of 79.5. After doing a test of the effectiveness is known that the value tcount in this study is 3,46 then ttable at significance level of 5% amounting to 2,024 . Thus it can be concluded that (tcount > ttable) that means there is the effectiveness of the use of model Cooperative Learning Type Course Review Horay in learning Dokkai I. The results of the interpretation of the questionnaire stated the majority of the response of the students positive.
