Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran grit pada mahasiswa di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 105 orang yang diambil menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel insidental non-probability. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Short Grit Scale (Grit-S) yang dikembangkan oleh Duckworth (2009). Data hasil penelitian menunjukan sebanyak 78 orang (74.3%) memiliki grit dengan kategori tinggi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa di Universitas Negeri Jakarta memiliki grit yang tinggi. ***** The purpose of this research is to determine the descriptive picture of grit among university students in Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The methods of this research uses descriptive quantitative on 105 respondents obtained using incidental non-probability sampling methods. Measuring instrument used in this study is Short Grit Scale (Grit-S) developed by Duckworth (2009). The results of this test shows as many as 78 students (74.%) falls to the high categorization of the grit score. The conclusion of this study show that the students in Universitas Negeri Jakarta have a high level of grit.
