Abstract

*****ABSTRAK***** Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi ajar relasi makna redundansi dalam menulis teks laporan hasil observasi berbasis pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menunjang pembelajaran dalam menulis laporan hasil observasi yang mengandung kalimat efektif dan unsur kehematan makna. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian dengan Research and Development (R&D). Pengembangan ini berdasarkan pada tata cara pengembangan R&D model ADDIE analysis (menganalisis), design (merancang), development (mengembangkan), implementation (mengimplementasikan), dan evaluation (mengevaluasi). Sampel pada penelitian ini merupakan siswa SMPN 99 Jakarta dan SMPN 232 Jakarta dengan jumlah 95 siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa hasil observasi dan angket analisis kebutuhan. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian menjelaskan bahwa telah berhasil mengembangkan materi ajar relasi makna redundansi dalam teks laporan hasil observasi berbasis pendekatan kontekstual untuk jenjang SMP Kelas VIII. Kualitas materi ajar relasi makna redundansi dalam teks laporan hasil observasi mendapatkan penilaian dari validator ahli materi sebesar 93% dan validator ahli metodologi sebesar 93% dengan kategori penilaian sangat baik/sangat layak. Materi ajar relasi makna redundansi dalam teks laporan hasil observasi berbasis pendekatan kontekstual dapat diimplementasikan dalam teks laporan hasil observasi jenjang SMP kelas VIII pada Capaian Pembelajaran (CP) elemen menulis. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, materi ajar yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini berhasil mengembangkan materi ajar yang efektif dan kontekstual untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi pada siswa, serta mendapatkan penilaian sangat baik dari ahli materi dan metodologi, sehingga layak untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran. *****ABSTRACT***** This study aims to develop teaching materials on the relations of the meaning of redundancy in writing the text of observation reports based on a contextual approach. This research is expected to support learning in writing observation reports that contain effective sentences and elements of saving meaning. This research is included in the type of research with Research and Development (R&D). This development is based on the procedures for developing the R&D model of ADDIE analysis , design , development , implementation , and evaluation . The sample in this study is students of SMPN 99 Jakarta and SMPN 232 Jakarta with a total of 95 students. The data collected was in the form of observation results and needs analysis questionnaires. Data analysis is carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study explain that it has succeeded in developing teaching materials on the relations of the meaning of redundancy in the text of observation reports based on a contextual approach for the Junior High School Level Class VIII. The quality of teaching materials related to the meaning of redundancy in the text of the observation report received an assessment from the material expert validator of 93% and the methodology expert validator of 93% with the category of very good/very feasible assessment. Teaching material on the meaning of redundancy in the text of the observation report based on the contextual approach can be implemented in the text of the observation report at the junior high school level in grade VIII on the Capaian Pembelajaran (CP) of the writing element. Based on the results of the evaluation, the teaching materials developed were declared suitable for use in learning. This research has succeeded in developing effective and contextual teaching materials to improve the ability to write observation report texts in students, as well as get excellent assessments from material and methodology experts, so that it is feasible to be implemented in learning.
