Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kinerja pengurus Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu komunikasi interpersonal sebagai variabel X dan kinerja sebagai variabel Y. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu pengurus Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa di UNJ dengan rentan usia 18-23 tahun yang sedang atau pernah mengikuti UKM di UNJ minimal 1 periode kepengurusan. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan total sampel sebanyak 96 pengurus UKM di UNJ yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan rumus Lemeshow. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket atau kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan analisis regresi linier sederhana yang menghasilkan persamaan regresi Ŷ = 80,585 + 0,347X dan perolehan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,142 atau 14,2%. Dari hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t didapatkan hasil t hitung > t tabel yaitu 3,948 > 1,989 dan hasil nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05. Sehingga dinyatakan variabel Komunikasi interpersonal memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pengurus Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. *** This study aims to determine how much influence interpersonal communication has on the performance of Student Activity Unit administrators at Jakarta State University. This study consists of two variables, namely interpersonal communication as the X variable and performance as the Y variable. This research uses quantitative approach with survey method. The population in this study is the management of the Student Activity Unit at the State University of Jakarta with a vulnerable age of 18-23 years who are or have participated in the Student Activity Unit at the State University of Jakarta for at least 1 management period. Sampling using Purposive Sampling technique with a total sample of 96 Student Activity Unit administrators at the State University of Jakarta obtained using the Lemeshow formula. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire or questionnaire with a Likert scale. Hypothesis testing was carried out by simple linear regression analysis which resulted in a regression equation Ŷ = 80.585 + 0.347X and the acquisition of a coefficient of determination of 0.142 or 14.2%. From the results of hypothesis testing using the t test, the results obtained t count > t table, namely 3.948 > 1.989 and the results of the significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. So it is stated that the variable Interpersonal communication has a positive and significant influence on the performance of the Student Activity Unit management at the Jakarta State University.
