Abstract

Pada abad ke-21, dunia telah mengalami perubahan secara dinamis dan inovatif. Untuk dapat bersaing dibutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki keterampilan belajar yang mencakup kreativitas, berpikir kritis, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Berpikir kreatif merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Berpikir kreatif dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa fakor, faktor eksternal yakni kondisi lingkungan sosial dan faktor internal yaitu motivasi, kepribadian, gender, pengetahuan dan intelegensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan motivasi berprestasi dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini melibatkan sampel sebanyak 86 siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dengan studi korelasional. Terdapat dua instrumen yang dikembangkan untuk mengukur tiap variable meliputi motivasi berprestasi dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan kategori rendah./(*****) In the 21st century, the world has experienced dynamic and innovative changes. To be able to compete requires human resources who have learning skills that include creativity, critical thinking and problem solving abilities. Creative thinking is one of the abilities that students must have. Creative thinking can be influenced by several factors, external factors, namely social environmental conditions and internal factors, namely motivation, personality, gender, knowledge and intelligence. This research aims to analyze the relationship between achievement motivation and students' creative thinking abilities on environmental change material. This research involved a sample of 86 students. The method used is a descriptive method with correlational studies. There are two instruments developed to measure each variable including achievement motivation and students' creative thinking abilities. The results of the research show that there is a positive relationship between achievement motivation and the creative thinking abilities of students in the low category.
