Abstract

*****ABSTRAK***** Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis tindak ilokusi dalam meme bertema covid-19 pada akun instagram @mmd (mademyday). Tindak tutur ilokusi dianalisis menggunakan teori ilokusi dari J.R Searle. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tuturan dan gambar dalam 26 meme pada akun instagram @mmd (mademyday) yang diunggah pada awal pandemi, yaitu bulan Maret - Juni tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian ini yaitu teknik dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 5 jenis tindak ilokusi dalam data penelitian ini, yaitu jenis tindak ilokusi direktif (direktiva) terdapat dalam 12 data. Selanjutnya, jenis tindak ilokusi ekspresif (expresiva) terdapat dalam 11 data. Selanjutnya, jenis tindak ilokusi respresentatif (repräsentativa) terdapat dalam 1 data. Kemudian, jenis tindak ilokusi komisif (kommisiva) terdapat dalam 1 data . Terakhir, jenis tindak ilokusi deklaratif (deklarativa) terdapat dalam 1 data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa jenis tindak ilokusi yang paling banyak muncul dalam data penelitian ini ialah tindak ilokusi direktif (direktiva). Hal ini berarti bahwa melalui meme penutur (kreator meme) bermaksud memberikan pesan kepada mitra tuturnya (pembaca meme) yaitu berupa instruksi untuk melakukan sesuatu terkait situasi pandemi covid-19, seperti untuk bersikap waspada terhadap bahaya covid-19 dan meminta pemerintah untuk cepat tanggap dalam menangani pandemi covid-19. Kata kunci : tindak ilokusi, meme, covid-19 *****ABSTRACT***** This study aims to describe the types of illocutionary acts found in COVID-19 themed memes on the Instagram account @mmd (mademyday). The illocutionary acts are analyzed using J.R. Searle’s theory of illocution. The data for this research consist of utterances and images from 26 memes on the Instagram account @mmd (mademyday) posted during the early stages of the pandemic, specifically from March to June 2020. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique used is documentation. The findings of this study indicate that there are 5 types of illocutionary acts in the data, namely directive illocutionary acts (directive) found in 12 instances. Furthermore, expressive illocutionary acts (expressive) are present in 11 instances. Representative illocutionary acts (representative) appear in 1 instance. Additionally, commissive illocutionary acts (commissive) are found in 1 instance. Finally, declarative illocutionary acts (declarative) are also found in 1 instance. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the most prevalent illocutionary act in the data is the directive illocutionary act (directive). This indicates that through the memes, the speaker (meme creator) aims to convey messages to the addressee (meme reader), such as instructions to take certain actions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, including being vigilant about the dangers of COVID-19 and urging the government to respond quickly to the pandemic.
