Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan memperoleh pemahaman tentang mitos makanan yang terdapat dalam film. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode simak bebas libat cakap, dibagi menjadi tiga tahap menurut Miles dan Huberman, yaitu tahap reduksi data, tahap penyajian data dan tahap penarikan atau verifikasi data. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah film yang berjudul Comme un chef karya Daniel Cohen, sedangkan data berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat yang terdapat di dalam dialog film tersebut. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri dengan bantuan tabel analisis data yang memuat tiga jenis mitos dan tiga fungsi mitos. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan, terdapat 20 jenis dan 20 fungsi mitos makanan, terdiri atas 10 data untuk jenis mitos asal–usul penciptaan dan 10 data untuk jenis mitos lingkungan. Kemudian, terdapat 9 data untuk fungsi mitos mythe et imitation dengan jumlah 9 data, lalu fungsi mitos mythe et persuasion 6 data, dan fungsi mitos le mythe comme fait de communication berjumlah 5 data. Namun, terdapat satu jenis mitos yang tidak ditemukan dalam film tersebut, yaitu jenis mitos ruang dan waktu kosmos. The purpose of this research is to describe and gain an understanding of the food myth contained in the film. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with a free and involved method, divided into three stages according to Miles and Huberman, namely the data reduction stage, the data presentation stage and the data withdrawal or verification stage. The data source used was a film titled Comme un chef by Daniel Cohen, while data in the form of words, phrases and sentences contained in the film's dialogue. The instrument used in this study was the researcher himself with the help of data analysis tables containing three types of myths and three mythical functions. The results of this study indicate, there are 20 types and 20 functions of food myths, consisting of 10 data for the origin of creation myths and 10 data for environmental myths. Then, there are 9 data for the mythe et imitation function with a total of 9 data, then the mythe et persuasion function for 6 data, and the le mythe comme fait de communication function for 5 data. However, there is one type of myth that is not found in the film, namely the type of space and time myths of the cosmos.
