Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media buku Bangun Datar Bergambar (BDB) pada pembelajaran Matematika bangun datar untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap sifat bangun datar peserta didik low vision kelas VII di SLB Bina Sejahtera. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Produk media buku Bangun Datar Bergambar (BDB) berbentuk media visual cetak yang memuat materi pembelajaran Matematika bangun datar pada modul ajar Matematika fase D di SLB Bina Sejahtera. Kegiatan belajar meliputi mengamati bentuk bangun datar, membaca isi teks, dan evaluasi. Media buku ditinjau oleh para ahli melalui evaluasi formatif expert review yang dinilai oleh ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli hambatan penglihatan. Hasil tinjauan para ahli tersebut yaitu ahli media memberikan penilaian rata-rata 85% (sangat layak), ahli materi 81% (sangat layak), dan ahli hambatan penglihatan 85% (sangat layak). Kemudian peneliti melanjutkan tahap evaluasi one to one terhadap satu peserta didik low vision instrumen penilaian yang ditinjau oleh guru kelas, berdasarkan hasil penilaiannya memperoleh nilai 88% (sangat layak). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Buku Bangun Datar Bergambar (BDB) dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran untuk mempelajari sifat-sifat bangun datar yaitu membandingkan dan mendeskripsikan bentuk bangun datar beserta sifatnya pada peserta didik low vision. This study aimed to create an illustrated plane figure book media (BDB) for teaching plane figure mathematics and to enhance the comprehension of plane figure concepts among low-vision seventh-grade students at the Special Needs School of Bina Sejahtera. The method employed was Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Illustrated plane figure book (BDB) media are printed visual media that include mathematical learning materials for plane figure concepts in the D phase of the mathematics teaching module at the Special Needs School of Bina Sejahtera. Learning of plane figure shapes, reading of textual content, and evaluation. The book's media underwent a rigorous evaluation process, including an expert review formative evaluation conducted by media, material, and blindness experts. The experts' review yielded the following results: media experts rated the average assessment as 85% (highly feasible), material experts rated it as 81% (highly feasible), and blind experts rated it as 85% (highly feasible). Subsequently, the researcher proceeded with the one-to-one evaluation phase of a mildly Low Vision student using an assessment instrument reviewed by the teacher. Based on the assessment results, the student scored 88% (highly feasible). Therefore, it can be inferred that the illustrated plane figure book (BDB) can serve as a learning instrument for low-vision blind students to study plane figures' characteristics by comparing and describing their shapes and characteristics.
