Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengembangkan produk berupa Missing Page Book Story sebagai upaya pemenuhan suatu permasalahan terkait kebutuhan media untuk menstimulasi keterampilan menyimak anak. Pelaksanaan uji coba penggunaan media dilakukan pada usia 5-6 tahun di BKB PAUD Hasanah. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif jenis flow model dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif melalui skala likert dan skala guttman. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh mengenai keterampilan menyimak anak, pada uji coba yang pertama sebesar 87.5% dan uji coba kedua sebesar 98.4%. Selain itu, diperoleh data penilaian media dari expert judgement dan guru. Penilaian dari ahli materi sebesar 92.10% sedangkan yang diperoleh dari ahli media sebesar 90.9% dan penilaian dari guru mendapatkan skor rata-rata persentase sebesar 87%. Maka dapat dikatakan bahwa media Missing Page Book Story dinyatakan layak untuk dikembangkan dan dilakukan uji coba di lapangan. Media Missing Page Book Story dilengkapi dengan panduan penggunaan, guru disarankan untuk terlebih dahulu membaca panduan penggunaan media Missing Page Book Story dengan scan barcode yang ada pada cover belakang buku. This action research activity uses the Research and Development (R&D) method by developing a product, namely Missing Page Book Story to overcome problems related to media needs to stimulate children's listening skills. The implementation of media usage trials was carried out on children aged 5-6 years at BKB PAUD Hasanah. The research instruments that were used included observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques that applied qualitative descriptive analysis of flow model type and quantitative descriptive analysis through Likert scale and Guttman scale. Based on the data that collected regarding children's listening skills in the first trial of 87.5% and the second trial of 98.4%. In addition, media assessment data obtained from the assessment of material experts and teachers. Material experts amounted to 92.10% while the percentage obtained from media experts was 90.9% and the teacher's assessment obtained an average percentage score of 87%. So it can be said that the Missing Page Book Story media is declared feasible to be developed and tested in the field. Missing Page Book Story media is equipped with a usage guide, teachers are advised to first read the Missing Page Book Story media usage guide by scanning the barcode on the back cover of the book.
