Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan makan pada anak usia 3-4 tahun saat kegiatan makan di Taman Penitipan Anak (TPA). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 orang anak yang terdiri dari 2 anak laki-laki dan 1 anak perempuan. 2 dari 3 anak yang diteliti merupakan anak berkewarganegaraan asing dan 1 anak lainnya berkewarganegaraan Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu Taman Penitipan Anak yang terletak di wilayah Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan. Waktu penelitian dilakukan 3 kali kegiatan makan yaitu snack pagi, makan siang, dan snack sore. Kegiatan Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tahapan analisis data Miles dan Huberman yang melalui tiga tahapan data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak usia 3-4 tahun di Taman Penitipan Anak memiliki keterampilan makan yang baik. Anak sudah dapat makan sendiri menggunakan alat makan, alat minum, serta anak dapat mengembangkan pembiasaan baik saat kegiatan makan seperti mengunyah makanan secara perlahan dan anak dapat membersihkan sisa makanan setelah makan. ****** This study aims to determine the eating skills of children aged 3-4 years during eating activities at the Child Care Center. The sample in this study was 3 children consisting of 2 boys and 1 girl. 2 of the 3 children studied were foreign citizens and 1 other child was an Indonesian citizen. This research was conducted at a child care park located in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta. During the research, breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks were carried out 3 times. Activities The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman data analysis stages which went through three stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the research show that children aged 3-4 years at the Child Care Center have good eating skills. Children can eat themselves using cutlery, drinking utensils, and children can develop good habits when eating, such as chewing food slowly and children can clean up leftovers after eating.
