Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data empiris mengenai persepsi orang tua tentang mainan anak usia 4-5 tahun berdasarkan gender di Kabupaten Bogor. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 112 orang tua yang memiliki anak usia 4-5 tahun dan menyekolahkan anaknya di Taman Kanak-kanak di Kabupaten Bogor. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner berbentuk google form. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan persepsi ibu dan ayah tentang mainan berdasarkan gender dalam aspek afektif (emosi dan perasaan) dan aspek konatif (sikap dan tindakan), namun terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam aspek kognitif (pengetahuan dan pemahaman). Berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah diperoleh menunjukkan sebanyak 76% dari 76 responden ibu memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang sedang tentang mainan berdasarkan gender, sedangkan sebanyak 82% dari 36 responden ayah menunjukkan tingkat pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang baik tentang mainan berdasarkan gender. ***** This study aims to obtain empirical data on parents' perception of children's toys aged 4-5 years based on gender in Bogor Regency. The sample of this study is 112 parents who have children aged 4-5 years and send their children to kindergarten in Bogor Regency. Sampling was done using the cluster random sampling technique. The method used is quantitative research with a survey method. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire in the form of a google form. The results of this study showed that there was no difference in the perception of mothers and fathers about toys based on gender in the affective aspects (emotions and feelings) and the conative aspects (attitudes and actions), but there were significant differences in the cognitive aspects (knowledge and understanding). Based on the calculations that have been obtained, as many as 76% of 76 mother respondents have a moderate level of knowledge and understanding about gender-based toys, while as many as 82% of 36 father respondents show a good level of knowledge and understanding of gender-based toys.
