Abstract
Dalam rangka menghindari kerusakan lingkungan secara terus menerus, perlu mewujudkan perilaku tanggung jawab lingkungan sejak dini. Hal yang berkontribusi pada perilaku seseorang terhadap lingkungan antara lain paradigma pada lingkungan dan keinginan untuk memperbaiki lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara paradigma (new environmental paradigm) dan keinginan untuk bertindak (intention to act) dengan perilaku tanggung jawab lingkungan (responsible environmental behavior) siswa. Penelitian dilaksankana di SMA Negeri 36 Jakarta pada Bulan Oktober-Desember 2019 dengan melibatkan sampel 97 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi korelasional menggunakan analisis regresi korelasi sederhana dan multiple. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara paradigma lingkungan baru dengan perilaku tanggung jawab lingkungan siswa; terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara keinginan untuk bertindak dengan responsible environmental behavior siswa; dan terdapat hubungan antara paradigma lingkungan baru dan keinginan untuk bertindak secara bersama-sama dengan perilaku tanggung jawab lingkungan siswa. Variasi responsible environmental behavior pada siswa SMAN 36 Jakarta sebesar 39.3% ditentukan oleh new environmental paradigm dan intention to act secara bersama sama. Oleh karena itu dalam meningkatkan perilaku tanggung jawab lingkungan, perlu dipertimbangkan untuk meningkatkan paradigma lingkungan baru dan keinginan untuk bertindak siswa. To avoid environmental damage continuously, is important to construct a responsible environmental behavior early on. The things that contribute to one’s behavior towards environment are the paradigm and intention to improve the environment. Therefore, this study aimed to know the relation between new environmental paradigm and intention to act with students’ responsible environmental behavior. The study was carried out in SMA Negeri 36 Jakarta in October-December 2019 by involving as many as 97 samples of students. The method used were descriptive method with a correlational study approach using simple and multiple correlation regression analysis. The results of the study revealed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the new environmental paradigm of students with responsible environmental behavior; there was a positive and significant relationship between the intention to act of students with responsible environmental behavior; and there is relation between new environmental paradigm and intention to act of students together with responsible environmental behavior. Responsible environmental behavior variations on students SMA Negeri 36 Jakarta amounting to 39.3% are determined jointly by the new environmental paradigm and the intention to act. Therefore, in increasing the responsible environmental behavior of students to be more positive, need to consider factors new environmental paradigm and intention to act of students who contribute significantly.
