Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan baru dan menganalisis pengaruh financial literation, childhood experience, impulse buying terhadap financial well-being. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Wilayah DKI Jakarta selama enam bulan dari Desember 2023 sampai Juli 2024. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei kuesioner dengan populasi yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa yang menggunakan dompet digital di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling dengan adanya kriteria tertentu. Total responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 140 orang, terdiri dari 41 responden laki-laki dan 99 responden Perempuan, yang merupakan mahasiswa Wilayah DKI Jakarta. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS. Hasil hipotesis penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan antara financial literacy terhadap impulsive buying, adanya pengaruh negatif dan signifikan antara childhood experience terhadap impulsive buying, dan terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan antara impulsive buying terhadap financial well-being. ***** This study aims to gain new knowledge and analyze the effect of financial literacy, childhood experience, impulse buying on financial well-being. This research was conducted in the DKI Jakarta Region. For six months from December 2023 to July 2024. The method used is a questionnaire survey method with the population used is students who use digital wallets in the DKI Jakarta area. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique with certain criteria. The total respondents in this study were 140 people, consisting of 41 male respondents and 99 female respondents, who are students of the DKI Jakarta Region. While the data analysis technique uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of this research hypothesis show that there is a negative and significant influence between financial literacy on impulsive buying, a negative and significant influence between childhood experience on impulsive buying, and there is a negative and significant influence between impulsive buying on financial well-being.
