Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen program teaching factory dalam meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan di SMKN 27 Jakarta. Subfokus pada penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi program teaching factory di SMKN 27 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pengamatan, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini meliputi ketua program teaching factory atau TEFA, ketua kompetensi keahlian, penanggungjawab TEFA, dan staf TEFA. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa: (1) Perencanaan program teaching factory dilakukan dengan menyusun program pembelajaran yang mampu menyiapkan lulusan yang berkompeten dalam dunia industri dengan melibatkan tim manajemen SMKN 27 Jakarta; (2) Pengorganisasian program teaching factory dilakukan dengan pembagian tanggung jawab, tugas, dan wewenang tim manajemen yang terlibat dalam program teaching factory SMKN 27 Jakarta; (3) Pelaksanaan program teaching factory di SMKN 27 Jakarta dilakukan dengan mengerahkan tim manajemen yang terlibat untuk mencapai tujuan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran unit layanan produksi pada kompetensi keahlian; (4) Evaluasi program teaching factory di SMKN 27 Jakarta dilakukan dengan mengukur tingkat keberhasilan program teaching factory melalui kegiatan rapat evaluasi bersama tim manajemen dan kegiatan uji kompetensi bagi peserta didik untuk mengukur kemampuan atau kompetensinya agar lulusannya sesuai standar kompetensi yang dibutuhkan oleh DUDI (Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri).*****This research aims to describe the management of the teaching factory program in improving the competency of graduates at SMKN 27 Jakarta. The subfocus of this research includes planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the teaching factory program at SMKN 27 Jakarta. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in this research were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Informants in this research include the head of the teaching factory program or TEFA, the head of skills competency, the person in charge of TEFA, and TEFA staff. This research shows the results that: (1) Planning for the teaching factory program was carried out by preparing a learning program that was able to prepare graduates who were competent in the industrial world by involving the management team of SMKN 27 Jakarta; (2) Organizing the teaching factory program is carried out by dividing the responsibilities, duties and authority of the management team involved in the SMKN 27 Jakarta teaching factory program; (3) The implementation of the teaching factory program at SMKN 27 Jakarta is carried out by mobilizing the management team involved to achieve goals through learning activities for production service units on skill competencies; (4) Evaluation of the teaching factory program at SMKN 27 Jakarta is carried out by measuring the level of success of the teaching factory program through evaluation meetings with the management team and competency test activities for students to measure their abilities or competencies so that graduates meet the competency standards required by DUDI (Business World and the Industrial World).
