Abstract

Penelitian ini betujuan untuk melihat gambaran perilaku bullying pada peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri di Kota Jakarta Timur. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Penelitian melibatkan 388 responden, terdiri dari 161 responden laki-laki dan 227 responden perempuan. Sampel penelitian Nonprobability Sampling dengan teknik pengambilan sampel Convenience Sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen Bullying and Cyberbullying Scale for Adolescent (BCS-A) dalam bentuk formulir dalam jaringan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritaas peserta didik SMPN di Kota Jakarta Timur pernah menjadi korban sekaligus pelaku dengan skor persentase 39,7%. Gambaran perilaku bullying berada dalam kategori sedang ditandai oleh perilaku bullying fisik, bullying verbal, bullying relasional dan cyberbullying yang terjadi di sekitar. Hasil penelitian dapat dijadikan landasan bagi pihak sekolah untuk membantu dalam segi acuan pengentasan tiga dosa besar yang digagas oleh Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Mendikbudristek) untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang ramah tanpa kekerasan disekitar peserta didik. ***** This study aims to see the description of bullying behavior in students of State Junior High Schools in East Jakarta City. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study involved 388 respondents, consisting of 161 male respondents and 227 female respondents. The research sample was Nonprobability Sampling with Convenience Sampling sampling technique. Data collection used the Bullying and Cyberbullying Scale for Adolescent (BCS-A) instrument in the form of an online form. The results showed that the majority of state junior high schools students in East Jakarta City had been both victims and perpetrators with a percentage score of 39.7%. The description of bullying behavior was in the moderate category marked by physical bullying behavior, verbal bullying, relational bullying and cyberbullying that occurred in the surrounding area. The results of the study can be used as a basis for schools to help in terms of references for eradicating the three major sins initiated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Mendikbudristek) to create a friendly environment without violence around students.
