Abstract
ABSTRAK RIHANA, NIM 9909820011 Pengembangan Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan Anak Usia 5–6 Tahun. Tesis. Jakarta: Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2023 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) memperoleh informasi kebutuhan pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif; 2) menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif yang sesuai untuk kemampuan membaca permulaan; 3) mengetahui efektivitas media yang dihasilkan untuk kemampuan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang mengacu pada model Dick & Carey. Tahap penelitian yang dilakukan adalah 9 dari 10 tahap model Dick & Carey, yaitu (1) identify instructional goal(s); (2) conduct instructional analysis; (3) analyze learners and contexts; (4) write performance objectives; (5) develop assessment instrument; (6) develop instructional strategy; (7) develop and select instructional materials; (8) design and conduct formative evaluation of instruction; (9) revise instruction. Subjek one-to-one evaluation sejumlah 3 orang anak pada satu sekolah. Subjek small group evaluation sejumlah 9 orang pada satu sekolah yang berbeda. Subjek field trial evaluation sejumlah satu kelas yaitu 15 orang pada satu sekolah yang berbeda. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, observasi, dan tes. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif terdapat beberapa media di dalamnya yaitu teks, audio, visual, warna, dan animasi. Pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan model tutorial. (2) Multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dikemas ke dalam flashdisk yang terdapat elemen seperti teks, visual, warna, audio, dan animasi. Multimedia pembelajaran interaktif yang dikembangkan dikategorikan “sangat layak” digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun. (3) Multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak. Nilai rata-rata pretest 70,7 dan rata-rata posttest 95. Terlihat bahwa nilai rata-rata anak meningkat 26% setelah menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif. Disimpulkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun. Kata kunci: anak usia dini, kemampuan membaca permulaan, media pembelajaran, multimedia pembelajaran interaktif. ********** This study aims to: 1) obtain information on the ability to count forchildren aged 5-6 years; 2) produce interactive learning multimedia suitable for the beginning reading ability; 3) find out the effectiveness of the media produced for children's beginning reading ability. This research is research and development that refers to the Dick & Carey development model. The research phases are out 9 out of 10 stages of the Dick & Carey development model, namely (1) identify instructional goal (s); (2) conduct instructional analysis; (3) analyze learners and contexts; (4) write performance objectives; (5) develop assessment instrument; (6) develop instructional strategy; (7) develop and select instructional materials; (8) design and conduct formative evaluation of instruction; (9) revise instruction. The subjects of one-to-one evaluation are 3 children in one school. The small group evaluation subjects are 9 people in a different school. The subjects of the field trial evaluation are 15 students of different schools. The data collection instruments used are questionnaires, observation guide, and tests. The data analysis was carried out by qualitative and quantitative analyses. The results of the study are as follows. (1) the development of interactive learning multimedia there are several media in it such as text, audio, visual, color, and animation. Development of interactive learning multimedia using a tutorial model. (2) Interactive learning multimedia is packaged into a flashdisk that contains elements such as text, visuals, colors, audio, and animation. Multimedia interactive learning developed categorized as "very feasible" is used to improve the beginning reading ability of children aged 5-6 years. (3) Interactive learning multimediacan improve children's beginning reading ability. The mean score of the pretest was 70.7 and the average posttest was 95. It was seen that the mean score of the children increased by 26% after using interactive learning multimedia. It was concluded that interactive learning multimedia can improve the beginning reading ability of children aged 5-6 years
