Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Di antara seluruh desain metode kuasi eksperimen, pada penelitian ini digunakan post-test only control group design. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel adalah cluster random sampling. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIII-B dan VIII-C di SMP Negeri 5 Bogor. Kemampuan representasi matematis siswa diukur menggunakan instrumen penelitian yaitu 3 soal uraian pada materi peluang yang telah valid dan reliabel. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah didapat, maka disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa SMP Negeri 5 Bogor. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of the Team Assisted Individualization type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematical representation abilities. Among all the designs of the quasi-experimental method, this study used a post-test only control group design. The technique used in sampling is cluster random sampling. The research sample was students of class VIII-B and VIII-C at SMP Negeri 5 Bogor. Students' mathematical representation ability was measured using research instruments, that included 3 questions on probability material that were been valid and reliable. Based on the results that have been obtained, it can be concluded that there is an effect from the appication of Team Assisted Individualization type cooperative learning on the mathematical representation ability.
