Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media video serial penyuluhan program sekolah lansia terhadap pemahaman kader PKK di Kelurahan Cempaka Putih Timur. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 25 orang kader PKK. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan model desain eksperimen pre-experimental designs jenis one group pre-test post-test design. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah instrumen tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi statistik deskriptif dan statistik nonparametrik. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa media video serial penyuluhan program sekolah lansia berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman program sekolah lansia pada kader PKK di Kelurahan Cempaka Putih Timur. Hal ini menunjukkan pemilihan media penyuluhan yang tepat dapat berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman warga belajar. Oleh karena itu, dalam penyuluhan perlu menggunakan media video serial sebagai tambahan atau alternatif media penyuluhan sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman program sekolah lansia pada kader PKK. *********** This study aims to determine the influence of video series media on the elderly school program counseling on the understanding of PKK cadres in Cempaka Putih Timur Village. The study sample consisted of 25 PKK cadres. The research method used was experimental with a pre-experimental design model of the one-group pretest post-test design type. The data collection technique employed was a test instrument. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics and nonparametric statistics. The results of the study demonstrated that video series media on the elderly school program counseling significantly influenced the understanding of the elderly school program among PKK cadres in Cempaka Putih Timur Village. This indicates that selecting appropriate counseling media can influence learners understanding. Therefore, counseling should utilize video series media as an additional or alternative tool to enhance the understanding of the elderly school program among PKK cadres
