Abstract

Perilaku agresif dapat mengakibatkan berbagai dampak negatif, baik bagi individu yang melakukannya maupun bagi orang lain di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab perilaku agresif pada peserta didik di salah satu SMP Negeri di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian merupakan tiga orang informan primer dan tiga orang sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, bentuk perilaku agresif yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik berupa perilaku agresif verbal dan perilaku agresif non-verbal. Perilaku agresif verbal yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik seperti membantah, berkata kasar, dan mengejek. Perilaku agresif non-verbal yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik seperti melanggar peraturan sekolah, menjahili teman dan merokok. Perilaku agresif tersebut dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yang menjadi penyebab utamanya seperti: (1) Faktor rasa frustasi, informan primer merasa tertekan akibat sering mendapat perhatian negatif dari guru; (2) Faktor psikologis, meliputi beberapa aspek yang berhubungan dengan sifat dan emosionalnya seperti informan primer menganggap bahwa perilaku mengganggu teman adalah bagian dari candaan yang menyenangkan; (3) Faktor teman sebaya, dipengaruhi oleh teman sekelas dan teman sebaya di lingkungan rumahnya yang melakukan tindakan negatif dan berdampak merugikan orang lain; (4) Faktor keluarga, dipengaruhi oleh pola asuh orang tua seperti pola asuh otoriter dan pola asuh permisif; (5) Faktor lingkungan, berdampak kepada perilaku agresif ketika seseorang menghabiskan waktu di luar rumah dengan orang sekitar yang berperilaku negatif. This study aims to determine the causes of aggressive behavior in students at one of the public junior high schools in Jakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects of the study were three primary informants and three secondary informants. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations and documentation. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, the forms of aggressive behavior carried out by students are in the form of verbal aggressive behavior and non-verbal aggressive behavior. Verbal aggressive behavior carried out by students such as arguing, saying rude things, and mocking. Non-verbal aggressive behavior carried out by students such as breaking school rules, teasing friends and smoking. This aggressive behavior is influenced by various factors that are the main causes such as: (1) Frustration factor, primary informants feel pressured due to often receiving negative attention from teachers; (2) Psychological factors, including several aspects related to their nature and emotions such as primary informants considering that annoying friends is part of a fun joke; (3) Peer factors, influenced by classmates and peers in their home environment who carry out negative actions and have a detrimental impact on others; (4) Family factors, influenced by parenting patterns such as authoritarian parenting patterns and permissive parenting patterns; (5) Environmental factors, impacting aggressive behavior when someone spends time outside the home with people around them who behave negatively.
