Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-control, self-awareness, dan academic burnout terhadap perilaku cyberloafing pada siswa SMKN 8 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 180 orang dari siswa kelas XI dan kelas XII Manajemen Perkantoran SMKN 8 Jakarta dangan sampel penelitian 123 orang berdasarkan tabel Isaac dan Michael. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan SEM-PLS dengan software SmartPLS versi 4.0 sebagai alat berhitung. Analisis data pada penelitian ini mencakup analisis model pengukuran, analisis model struktural, dan pengujian hipotesis pengaruh langsung serta hipotesis pengaruh tidak langsung. Hasil outer model pada penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai convergent validity > 0.70, nilai discriminant validity HTMT < 1, dan nilai composite reliability > 0.70. Hasil inner model pada penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai R-Square pada variabel academic burnout kecil dan variabel perilaku cyberloafing kuat; nilai f-Square terkait besarnya pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat terdapat dua pengaruh yang rendah, dua pengaruh moderat, dan satu pengaruh tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh self-control terhadap academic burnout secara negatif dan signifikan; pengaruh self-awareness terhadap academic burnout secara negatif dan signifikan; pengaruh self-control terhadap perilaku cyberloafing secara negatif dan signifikan; pengaruh self-awareness terhadap perilaku cyberloafing secara negatif dan signifikan; dan pengaruh academic burnout terhadap perilaku cyberloafing secara positif dan signifikan. Pengaruh mediasi academic burnout terhadap pengaruh self-control terhadap perilaku cyberloafing menunjukkan korelasi negatif dan signifikan; dan academic burnout memediasi pengaruh self-control terhadap perilaku cyberloafing secara negatif dan signifikan. Implikasi pada penelitian ini mencakup aktivitas sosial pada variabel perilaku cyberloafing, kontrol perilaku pada variabel self-control, self confidence pada variabel self-awareness, dan penurunan keyakinan belajar pada academic burnout perlu dipertahankan. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of self-control, self-awareness, and academic burnout on cyberloafing behavior in students of SMKN 8 Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach with a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) research design. The population in this study is 180 people from grade XI and grade XII students of Office Management of SMKN 8 Jakarta with a research sample of 123 people based on Isaac and Michael's table. The data analysis technique in this study uses SEM-PLS with SmartPLS software version 4.0 as a calculation tool. The data analysis in this study includes measurement model analysis, structural model analysis, and testing of direct influence hypothesis and indirect influence hypothesis. The results of the outer model in this study showed a convergent validity value of > 0.70, a discriminant validity value of HTMT < 1, and a composite reliability value of > 0.70. The results of the inner model in this study showed that the R-Square value on the academic burnout variable was small and the cyberloafing behavior variable was strong; the f-Square value related to the influence of the independent variable on the bound variable had two low influences, two moderate influences, and one high influence. The results showed that there was a negative and significant effect of self-control on academic burnout; a negative and significant effect of self-awareness on academic burnout; a negative and significant effect of self-control on cyberloafing behavior; an effect of self-awareness on academic burnout negative and significant cyberloafing behavior; and the effect of academic burnout on cyberloafing behavior positively and significantly. The mediation effect of academic burnout on the effect of self-control on cyberloafing behavior showed a negative and significant correlation; and academic burnout mediated the effect of self-control on cyberloafing behavior negatively and significantly. The implications of this study include social activities in cyberloafing behavior variables, behavioral control in self-control variables, self-confidence in self-awareness variables, and decreased learning confidence in academic burnout need to be maintained.
