Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model pembelajaran berpikir kritis berbasis e-service-learning, evaluasi kelayakan, dan evaluasi efektivitas untuk mengatasi permasalahan dalam pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Model pembelajaran dikembangkan melalui penelitian pengembangan dengan memadukan model pengembangan Borg and Gall serta model Dick and Carey. Pengembangan diawali dengan pengumpulan data dan informasi untuk menggali permasalahan dan potensi pengembangan model, dilanjutkan dengan langkah-langkah pengembangan sesuai model Dick and Carey. Model yang dikembangkan telah melewati proses evaluasi formatif yang meliputi uji one-to-one pakar, uji one-to-one peserta didik, uji kelompok kecil, dan uji lapangan dan menghasilkan model konseptual, prosedural, dan fisikal. Model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dilengkapi bahan ajar e-learning yang sesuai dengan sintak model yang memiliki komponen tatap muka dan pembelajaran mandiri secara daring. Hasil evaluasi formatif menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran layak dari aspek desain, materi, dan media, untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Hasil uji lapangan pengetahuan berpikir kritis menunjukkan Skor N-Gain 59, hasil uji keterampilan berpikir kritis menunjukkan rata-rata 3,19, dan hasil uji sikap berpikir kritis menunjukkan rata-rata 3,50. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berpikir kritis berbasis e-service-learning dinyatakan masuk ke dalam kategori “cukup efektif” dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memperkaya ragam model pembelajaran yang sudah ada dan temuan dalam penelitian dapat memberikan sumbangan dalam keilmuan dan secara praktis dalam pembelajaran berpikir kritis yang menghubungkan peserta didik dengan masalah dunia nyata untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan menerapkannya dalam membuat keputusan untuk menghasilkan tindakan dan solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan kehidupan nyata. ABSTRACT This research aims to produce a critical thinking learning model based on eservice- learning, feasibility evaluation, and effectiveness evaluation to overcome problems in learning that can improve critical thinking ability. The learning model was developed through research and development method by combining the Borg and Gall development model and the Dick and Carey model. The development begins with the collection of data and information to explore the problems and potential for model development, followed by development steps according to the Dick and Carey model. The developed model has gone through a formative evaluation process that includes one-to-one expert formative evaluation, one-toone student formative evaluation, small group formative evaluation, and field trial which produces conceptual, procedural, and physical models. The learning model developed is supported with e-learning paltform that complement the syntax of the model which has offline and online independent learning components. The results of the formative evaluation show that the learning model is very feasible from the aspects of design, materials, and media, to be used in learning. The results of the critical thinking knowledge field test showed an N-Gain score of 59, the results of the critical thinking skills test showed an average of 3.19, and the results of the critical thinking attitude test showed an average of 3.50. These results show that the e-service-learning-based critical thinking learning model is "quite effective" in improving students' critical thinking skills. This study contributes to the body of knowledge in the field of educational research on how a critical learning model can be developed to answer a need for a model that connects students with real-world issues that goes beyond classroom settings to help enhance their critical thinking ability and apply them in making decisions to generate actions and solutions for real-life problems in their social environments.
