Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) terhadap keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas VIII MTs Nur At-Taqwa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancangan Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Nur Aat-Taqwa. Pada desain ini, terdapat dua kelas yang dijadikan sampel, yaitu kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil pemerolehan data terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran RADEC. Rentang nilai tes awal menulis teks laporan hasil observasi pada siswa kelas eksperimen berada pada nilai tertinggi 78 dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 62. Rentang nilai tes akhir menulis teks laporan hasil observasi pada siswa tertinggi berada pada 95 dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 83. Selisih rata-rata antara nilai tes awal dan tes akhir adalah sebesar 21. Pemerolehan data di kelas eksperimen bahwa hasil pengujian hipotesis pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05, terima H1 jika Thitung > Ttabel atau bisa dikatakan tolak H0. Didapatkan hasil bahwa Thitung = 12,22 dan Tatbel = 1,666, maka pengujian hipotesisi ini adalah terima H1. Dengan demikian, bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penggunaan model pembelajaran RADEC terhadap keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas VIII MTs Nur At-Taqwa. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of using RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, This study aims to determine whether or not there is an effect of using the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) learning model on the writing skills of observation report text of class VIII MTs Nur At-Taqwa students. This research uses quantitative methods. The research method used in this research is experimental method with Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The population of this research was the VIII grade students of MTs Nur Aat-Taqwa. In this design, there are two classes that are used as samples, namely class VIII C as the experimental class and class VIII A as the control class. The results of data acquisition there is a significant difference between before and after being given treatment using RADEC learning model. The range of initial test scores for writing observation report text in the experimental class students was at the highest score of 78 with an average score of 62. The range of final test scores for writing observation report text in the highest students was at 95 with an average score of 83. The average difference between the initial and final test scores is 21. The data obtained in the experimental class that the results of hypothesis testing at the significance level α = 0.05, accept H1 if Thitung> Ttabel or can be said to reject H0. The results showed that Thitung = 12.22 and Tatbel = 1.666, so this hypothesis testing is to accept H1. Thus, there is a significant effect on the use of RADEC learning model on the skill of writing observation report text of class VIII MTs Nur At-Taqwa students.
