Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran team games tournament. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus dimana dalam setiap siklusnya terdiri dari empat tahap, yakni: Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Pengamatan atau Observasi serta Refleksi. Pada tiap siklusnya, penelitian ini difokuskan untuk memperoleh data tentang penggunaan model pembelajaran team games tournament dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas XII IPS 4 yang terdiri dari 36 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket motivasi belajar siswa yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team games tournament, serta pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh guru kolaborator yang dilakukan untuk mencatat perilaku siswa seperti keaktifan serta respon siswa selama pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran team games tournament berlangsung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran team games tournament dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa di kelas XII IPS 4. Hal ini dapat dilihat berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dan guru kolaborator yang menyatakan bahwa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran team games tournament yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus terdapat peningkatan indikator motivasi yang awalnya sebesar 36,812% atau berada dalam kategori sedang meningkat menjadi sebesar 67,523% atau berada dalam kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disumpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran team games tournament dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas XII IPS 4 SMA Negeri 3 Tangerang.***** This research was conducted with the aim of increasing students' motivation to learn through the use of team games tournament learning model. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of two cycles in which each cycle consists of four stages, namely: 1.each cycle consists of four stages, namely: Planning, Implementation, Observation or Observation and Reflection. In each cycle, this research focused on obtaining data about the use of team games tournament learning model in increasing students' motivation to learn history. This research was conducted in class XII IPS 4 class consisting of 36 students. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire of student learning motivation given before and after the implementation of the team games tournament type cooperative learning model the application of team games tournament type cooperative learning model, as well as observations made by the collaborating teacher to record the behavior of the students by the collaborator teacher which was done to record the behavior of students such as activeness and students response during the learning process with the team games tournament type cooperative learning model behavior such as student activeness and student response during learning with the team games tournament learning model. The results of this study show that the application of the team games tournament learning model can increase the motivation to learn history of students in class XII IPS 4. This can be seen based on the results of observations made by researchers and collaborating teachers. observations made by researchers and collaborator teachers who stated that after the the application of the team games tournament learning model implemented in two cycles there was an increase in motivation indicators which initially amounted to 36.812% categorized as moderate, to 67.523% categorizzed as high. Based on These results , it can be concluded that the implementation of of the team games tournament learning model can enhance the motivation to learn history among Students in class XII IPS 4 at SMA Negeri 3 Tangerang.
