Abstract
Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa video pembelajaran materi penyelamatan tersedak untuk program pelatihan Medical First Responder (MFR) di Badan Nasional pencarian dan pertolongan. Video ini disusun secara sistematis dan bertahap memperhatikan prosedur penyelamatan tersedak dengan metode Heimlich manuver sesuai dengan kebutuhan rescuer. Video pembelajaran ini membahas definisi, penyebab, dan ciri-ciri tersedak, serta langkah penyelamatan tersedak menggunakan teknik Heimlich manuver. Video ini juga menyajikan poin-poin penting dalam teknik tersebut dan dilengkapi dengan tes pemahaman di bagian akhir. Pengembangan video pembelajaran ini menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) oleh Thiagarajan, yang dipilih karena setiap tahapannya terperinci dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peneliti. Video pembelajaran ini telah melalui evaluasi formatif oleh ahli dan pengguna. Berdasarkan uji ahli (expert review), ahli materi memberi skor 3,68 dan ahli media 3,46, keduanya masuk kategori "Sangat Baik." Uji pengguna one-to-one menunjukkan produk video pembelajaran ini mudah dipahami, dengan rata-rata skor yang didapat 3,62 dari rescuer, masih dalam kategori "Sangat Baik." Berdasarkan hasil expert review dan uji coba pengguna, dapat dinyatakan bahwa produk video pembelajaran yang dihasilkan sudah sesuai dan layak digunakan dalam pelatihan Medical first responder di lingkungan BASARNAS. ***** This development research aims to produce a product in the form of an instructional video on choking rescue procedures for the Medical First Responder (MFR) training program at the National Search and Rescue Agency. The video is systematically and gradually designed, adhering to choking rescue procedures using the Heimlich maneuver method to meet the needs of rescuers. The instructional video covers the definition, causes, and signs of choking, as well as the steps for performing the Heimlich maneuver to address choking. The video also highlights key points of the technique and includes a comprehension test at the end.The development of this instructional video follows the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) by Thiagarajan, chosen for its detailed stages that align with the researcher's needs. The instructional video underwent formative evaluations by experts and users. Based on expert reviews, the material expert provided a score of 3.68 and the media expert 3.46, both categorized as "Excellent." A one-to-one user test showed that the instructional video was easy to understand, with an average score of 3.62 from rescuers, still categorized as "Excellent." Based on the results of the expert review and user trials, it can be concluded that the instructional video produced is appropriate and suitable for use in the Medical First Responder training program within BASARNAS.
