Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara rasa percaya diri terhadap keaktifan belajar IPS siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar yang ada di kelurahan Kebon Manggis. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 101 siswa yang diambil melalui teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif yang kemudian diolah dengan teknik analisis korelasi Product Moment. Hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi memperoleh koefisien sebesar 0,5449 yang menunjukkan korelasi berada pada korelasi sedang atau cukup kuat dan menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara rasa percaya diri dengan keaktifan belajar IPS berbanding lurus. Hasil perhitungan koefisien determinasi diperoleh KD = 29,69%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa keaktifan belajar IPS ditentukan oleh rasa percaya diri sebesar 29,69%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tedapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara rasa percaya diri dengan keaktifan belajar IPS, yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil olah data menggunakan korelasi product moment dimana thitung > ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% yakni 6,4658 > 1,9845, sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara rasa percaya diri dan keaktifan belajar IPS siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. ***** The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between self-confidence and social studies learning activities in fifth grade elementary school students. This type of research is correlational research. Participants in this study were fifth grade elementary school students in Kebon Manggis District. The sample of this study was 101 students selected using simple random sampling techniques. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive analysis, which was then processed using the Product Moment correlation analysis method. Based on the results of the correlation coefficient calculation, a coefficient of 0.5449 is obtained which indicates that the relationship is at a moderate or fairly strong correlation level, and a positive value indicates a correlation between self-confidence and social learning activity. studies are directly proportional. Based on the calculation results of the coefficient of determination obtained KD = 29.69% so it can be concluded that the activeness of learning social studies is determined by self-confidence of 29.69%. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between self-confidence and activeness of learning social studies as evidenced by the results of data processing using product moment correlation where tcount > ttable at a significance level of 5%, namely 6.4658. > 1.9845, then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This shows that there is a correlation between self-confidence and activeness of learning social studies of grade V elementary school students.
