Abstract

Adversity Quotient adalah suatu ukuran yang dapat mempengaruhi daya juang seseorang dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Salah satu hal yang terkait dengan Adversity Quotient adalah kemampuan berpikir kreatif karena Adversity Quotient dapat mendorong seseorang untuk menghadapi masalah dan menyelesaikannya dengan kreatif. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif adalah kemampuan untuk melakukan proses berpikir yang dapat menghasilkan suatu hal yang baru dan inovatif. Proses berpikir kreatif dapat diamati dengan baik pada pembelajaran sains khususnya biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Adversity Quotient dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMA pada pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Labschool Jakarta pada siswa kelas XI. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan studi korelasional. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan multistage random sampling dan didapatkan sebanyak 84 sampel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan instrumen berupa tes berbentuk soal essai untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMA pada pembelajaran biologi dan instumen skala adversiti untuk mengukur Adversity Quotient. Hipotesis penelitian diuji dengan Pearson Product Moment pada α: 0,05. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara Adversity Quotient dengan kemampuan berpikir breatif siswa SMA pada pembelajaran biologi dengan nilai kontribusi kontribusi Adversity Quotient terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa sebesar 88,2%. *********************** Adversity Quotient is a quotient that can affect one's fighting spirit in solving problems. One thing related to Adversity Quotient is the ability to think creatively because Adversity Quotient can encourage someone to face problems and solve them creatively. The ability to think creatively is the ability to carry out thought processes that can produce something new and innovative. The process of creative thinking can be observed well in the study of science, especially biology. This study aimed to determine the relationship between Adversity Quotient with high school students's creative thinking skills in biology learning. This research used quantitative method with correlational studies. This research was conducted at Labschool High School Jakarta in class XI students. Sampling in this study used multistage random sampling and obtained as many as 84 samples. Data collection was carried out by providing instrumens in the form of essay test to measure creative thinking abilities of high school students in biology learning and adversity scale instrumens to measure Adversity Quotient. The research hypothesis was tested by Pearson Product Moment in α: 0.05. The result showed that there’s a relationship between Adversity Quotient and the creative thinking ability of high school students in biology learning with 88.2% contribution value.
