Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman matematis peserta didik kelas V SDN Cipinang 03. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V yang berjumlah 31 orang. Model penelitian tindakan kelas yang digunakan adalah model Kemmis dan MC. Taggart, yang terdiri dari dua siklus dengan tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan dan pengamatan, refleksi. Data penelitian terdiri dari data proses dan data hasil belajar peserta didik. Proses data diperoleh melalui adanya observasi aktivitas guru dan peserta didik, serta data pemahaman matematis diperoleh melalui tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman matematis peserta didik pada setiap siklus. Pada siklus pertama, hanya 61% peserta didik yang tuntas sedangkan 39% tidak tuntas. Pada siklus kedua, meningkat menjadi 87% yang tuntas dan 13% tidak tuntas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu adanya peningkatan pemahaman matematis pada setiap siklus sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa penerapan etnomatematika telah berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman matematis peserta didik. **** This classroom action research was carried out with the aim of improving the mathematical understanding of class V students at SDN Cipinang 03. The subjects in this research were 31 class V students. The classroom action research model used is the Kemmis and MC model. Taggart, which consists of two cycles with stages, namely planning, action and observation, reflection. Research data consists of process data and student learning outcomes data. The data process was obtained through observing teacher and student activities, as well as mathematical understanding data obtained through tests. The results of the research show that there is an increase in students' mathematical understanding in each cycle. In the first cycle, only 61% of students completed it while 39% did not complete it. In the second cycle, it increased to 87% complete and 13% incomplete. The conclusion of this research is that there is an increase in mathematical understanding in each cycle so that it can be stated that the application of the ethnomathematics has succeeded in increasing students' mathematical understanding.
