Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah antara siswa yang belajar dengan brain based learning dan siswa yang belajar dengan ekspositori (2) interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan adversity quotient terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada siswa (3) perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah antara siswa yang belajar dengan brain based learning dan siswa yang belajar dengan ekspositori pada siswa yang memiliki adversity quotient tinggi, (4) perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah antara siswa yang belajar dengan brain based learning dan siswa yang belajar dengan ekspositori pada siswa yang memiliki adversity quotient rendah. Objek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV-A SDN Ciputri dan SDN Palurahan 2 dengan jumlah 60 siswa di kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model brain based learning dan di kelas IV-B SD SDN Ciputri dan SDN Palurahan 2 dengan jumlah siswa 60 siswa di kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model ekspositori. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain treatment by level 2x2. Uji stasistik yang digunakan adalah statistic deskriptif untuk menyajikan data yang dilanjutkan dengan uji prasyarat untuk mengetahui uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas lalu, dilanjutkan dengan uji statistic inferensial dengan menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur dengan taraf α = 0,05, setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang belajar menggunakan model brain based learning lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan model ekspositori. (2) Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan adversity quotient terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. (3) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang memilik adversity quotient tinggi dan belajar menggunakan model brain based learninglebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan model ekspositori. (4) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang memiliki adversity quotient rendah dan belajar menggunakan model brain based learning lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan model ekspositori. Kata Kunci: Brain based learning, Kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan Adversity quotient. / This study aims to determine: (1) the difference in problem-solving ability between students who learn with brain based learning and students who learn with expository (2) the interaction between learning models and adversity quotient on students' problem solving ability (3) the difference in problem solving ability between students who learn with brain based learning and students who learn with expository in students who have high adversity quotient, (4) the difference in problem solving ability between students who learn with brain based learning and students who learn with expository in students who have low adversity quotient. The objects of the study were students of class IV-A SDN Ciputri and SDN Palurahan 2 with a total of 60 students in the experimental class using the brain based learning model and in class IV-B SD SDN Ciputri and SDN Palurahan 2 with a total of 60 students in the control class using the expository model. The method used was an experiment with a treatment by level 2x2 design. The statistical test used is descriptive statistics to present data which is continued with prerequisite tests to determine the normality test and homogeneity test, then continued with inferential statistical tests using two-way ANOVA with a level of α = 0.05, after which it is continued with the Tukey test. The results of the study show that: (1) The mathematical problem-solving ability of students who learn using the brain-based learning model is higher than that of students who use the expository model. (2) There is an interaction effect between the learning model and the adversity quotient on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students. (3) The mathematical problem-solving ability of students who have a high adversity quotient and learn using the brain-based learning model is higher than that of students who learn using the expository model. (4) The mathematical problem-solving ability of students who have a low adversity quotient and learn using the brain-based learning model is lower than that of students who learn using the expository model.
