Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini ialah mengembangkan e-Modul Materi Air Bersih pada Mata Kuliah Teknik Penyehatan di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah research and development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D: define, design, develop, dan dissemination. E-modul terdiri dari lima materi ajar, yakni: (1) sumber-sumber air lingkungan sekitar; (2) sumber air minum; (3) pengolahan air laut dan air hujan; (4) Pengolahan pasir lambat dan pasir cepat; (5) pengolahan air secara modern. Penelitian ini dimuali dari dilakukannya beberapa analisis awal sehingga dibutuhkannya pengembangan produk berupa e-Modul. Lalu setelah dilakukan analisis maka dilakukan perancangan draft awal e-Modul sesuai dengan kebutuhan dari hasil analisis, setelah draft awal rampung maka dilakukan kelayakan kepada para pakar ahli materi, media, bahasa, dan pengguna (user), seluruh komentar serta saran pakar ahli dilakukan perbaikan. Selanjutnya setelah revisi produk maka dilakukan penyebaran kepada para mahasiswa untuk dilakukannya uji coba tebatas. Hasil kelayakan menyatakan bahwa e-Modul layak digunakan, dengan nilai kelayakan yang diperoleh dari ahli materi sebesar 92,8%, ahli media 92,5%, ahli bahasa 92%, dan penilaian pengguna 95%. Uji coba terbatas yang telah dilakukan kepada 20 mahasiswa menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar, dengan didapatkan nilai n-gain pada uji coba terbatas e-Modul sebesar 0,70, menunjukkan kategori yang tinggi. Dapat dinyatakan, e-Modul Materi Air Bersih layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran Mata Kuliah Teknik Penyehatan. ****The focus of this research is to develop an e-Module on Clean Water Material for the Sanitary Engineering Course in the Building Engineering Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with a 4D development model: define, design, develop, and dissemination. The e-Module consists of five instructional materials: (1) sources of environmental water; (2) drinking water sources; (3) seawater and rainwater treatment; (4) slow sand and rapid sand filtration; and (5) modern water treatment. This research began with preliminary analyses, which indicated the need for product development in the form of an e-Module. Following the analysis, an initial draft of the e-Module was designed according to the identified needs. After completing the initial draft, feasibility testing was conducted with subject matter experts, media specialists, language experts, and users. All expert feedback and suggestions were incorporated into revisions. Subsequently, after product revisions, the e-Module was distributed to students for a limited trial. The feasibility assessment results indicate that the e-Module is suitable for use, with feasibility scores of 92.8% from subject matter experts, 92.5% from media experts, 92% from language experts, and 95% from user evaluations. A limited trial involving 20 students showed an improvement in learning outcomes, with an n-gain score of 0.70, categorized as high. Therefore, the Clean Water Material e-Module is deemed appropriate for use in the learning process of the Sanitary Engineering Course.
