Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis manajemen strategis dalam peningkatan mutu layanan pendidikan di SMK Metland School. Sub fokus penelitian ini adalah perencanaa, implementasi, dan evaluasi strategi dalam peningkatan mutu layanan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kepala bidang penjaminan mutu dan layanan akademik, wakil kepala sekolah, guru dan kasubid evaluasi dan pengembangan GTK, guru dan koordinator ekstrakurikuler, orang tua siswa dan siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan strategi peningkatan mutu layanan sekolah dilakukan berdasarkan analisis SWOT, yang selanjutnya digunakan untuk meninjau efektivitas visi, misi dan tujuan sekolah. Dari hasil tinjauan, dibuatlah identifikasi kebutuhan layanan sekolah yang menjadi dasar dalam merancang perancanaan program sekolah. (2) Pelaksanaan strategi peningkatan mutu layanan sekolah dilakukan dengan mengalokasikan sumber daya dengan optimal dan melaksanakan program sekolah sesuai dengan perencanaannya. Implementasi strategi melibatkan seluruh stakeholders yang ada. Masing–masing bidang, sub bidang dan koordinator program melaksanakan program kerja sesuai dengan tugas pokok dan fungsi bidang tersebut. (3) Evaluasi dan pengawasan strategi peningkatan mutu layanan di SMK Metland School dilakukan dengan monitoring program secara berkala, membuat laporan pelaksanaan program yang selanjutnya menjadi acuan dalam rapat evaluasi program sekolah.***** This study aims to describe and analyze strategic management in improving the quality of educational services at SMK Metland School. The sub-focus of this study is planning, implementing, and evaluating strategies in improving the quality of educational services. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Informants in this study were the head of the quality assurance and academic services division, vice principal, teachers and sub-heads of evaluation and development of GTK, teachers and extracurricular coordinators, parents and students. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Planning a strategy to improve the quality of school services is carried out based on a SWOT analysis, which is then used to review the effectiveness of the school's vision, mission and goals. From the results of the review, an identification of school service needs is made which is the basis for designing school program planning. (2) Implementation of the strategy to improve the quality of school services is carried out by allocating resources optimally and implementing school programs according to their planning. Implementation of the strategy involves all existing stakeholders. Each division, sub-division and program coordinator implements a work program according to the main tasks and functions of the division. (3) Evaluation and supervision of service quality improvement strategies at Metland School Vocational School is carried out by monitoring programs periodically, making reports on program implementation which can then be used as a reference in school program evaluation meetings
