Abstract
Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan fungsi manajemen yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan dalam pengelolaan sarana praktik siswa pada Konsentrasi Keahlian Teknik Konstruksi dan Perumahan di SMK Negeri 4 Jakarta, yang merupakan SMK Pusat Keunggulan di Jakarta Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman dengan narasumber dalam penelitian ini meliputi Kepala Konsentrasi Keahlian, Sekretaris Konsentrasi Keahlian, dan dua siswa pengguna aktif sarana praktik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan dilakukan dengan analisis kebutuhan yang berbasis kurikulum dan standar nasional, serta koordinasi yang baik antar pihak terkait. Fungsi Pengorganisasian telah mencakup pembagian tugas dan wewenang yang jelas, meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam hal pengawasan dan kedisiplinan pengembalian alat. Penerapan Fungsi Pelaksanaan sudah berjalan dengan baik namun masih memerlukan perbaikan dalam pengawasan dan kedisiplinan siswa. Fungsi pengawasan, meskipun telah menetapkan standar dan dilakukan evaluasi, masih bersifat reaktif dan memerlukan pendekatan yang lebih proaktif serta peningkatan pengawasan terhadap pengembalian alat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan untuk meningkatkan pengawasan, menetapkan toolman tetap, memberikan pelatihan lebih lanjut, serta mengembangkan sistem evaluasi yang lebih terperinci untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keteraturan pengelolaan sarana praktik di SMK Negeri 4 Jakarta. ***** This study will describe the use of management functions such as planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising in the management of student practice facilities at the Construction and Housing Engineering Expertise Concentration at SMK Negeri 4 Jakarta, which is the SMK Centre of Excellence in North Jakarta. The research method is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The Miles & Huberman model was employed to analyze data with resource individuals in this study, which included the Head of Expertise Concentration, Secretary of Expertise Concentration, and two students who are active users of practical facilities. The findings indicate that Planning is done by analysing needs based on curriculum and national standards, as well as good coordination between related parties. The Organizing Function has included a clear division of tasks and authority, although there are challenges in terms of supervision and discipline in returning equipment. Implementation of the Implementation Function has gone well but still needs improvement in supervision and student discipline. The supervision function, although it has set standards and conducted evaluations, is still reactive and requires a more proactive approach and increased supervision of tool returns. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended to improve supervision, assign a permanent toolman, provide further training, and develop a more detailed evaluation system to improve the efficiency and orderliness of the management of practical facilities at SMK Negeri 4 Jakarta.
