Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran strategi koping peserta didik yang mengalami stres akademik pada kurikulum merdeka. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian survei. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 222 peserta didik yang mengalami stres akademik dengan menggunakan convinience sampling. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survey. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan instrumen yang terdiri dari dua instrumen yaitu Lakaev Academic Stres Response Scale (LASRS) dikembangkan oleh Nasatha Lakaev (2009) kemudian diadaptasi oleh peneliti dan instrumen strategi koping yaitu Ways of Coping yang dikembangkan oleh Lazarus dan Foklman yang telah diadaptasi dari Yulin (2016). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gambaran strategi koping peserta didik yang mengalami stres akademik pada kurikulum merdeka diketahui sebanyak sebanyak 64% (n=142) menggunakan problem focused coping dan (emotion focused coping) sebanyak 36% (n=80). Secara keseluruhan peserta didik yang mengalami stres akademik cenderung menggunakan problem focused coping dengan indikator yang paling dominan seeking social support. .***** This study aims to describe the coping strategies of students who experience academic stress in the independent curriculum. The method used is descriptive with survey research type. The sample of this study was 222 students who experienced academic stress using convinience sampling. The study used a quantitative approach using the survey method. Data collection was carried out with an instrument consisting of two instruments, namely the Lakaev Academic Stress Response Scale (LASRS) developed by Nasatha Lakaev (2009) and then adapted by researchers and a coping strategy instrument, namely Ways of Coping developed by Lazarus and Foklman which has been adapted from Yulin (2016). The results showed a description of the coping strategies ofstudents who experienced academic stress in the independent curriculum known as much as 64% (n = 142) using problem focused coping and (emotion focused coping) as much as 36% (n = 80). Overall, students who experience academic stress tend to use problem focused coping with the most dominant indicator seeking social support.
