Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pembinaan Peserta Didik dalam Meraih Prestasi melalui Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler di SMA Negeri 2 Kuningan Jawa Barat. Sub fokus penelitian yaitu pembinaan prestasi peserta didik, prestasi peserta didik, dan ekstrakurikuler dalam pembinaan prestasi peserta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini adalah Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kesiswaan, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kurikulum, Guru Pembina Ekstrakurikuler, dan Peserta Didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Pembinaan prestasi peserta didik dilakukan secara sistematis dan berjenjang, dimulai dari pengenalan minat dan bakat peserta didik, (2) Prestasi berhasil diraih dalam bidang akademik dan non akademik di tingkat kabupaten sampai nasional. Faktor pendorong yaitu SDM guru pembina, motivasi tinggi, dukungan orangtua serta sekolah. Kendala yang dialami yaitu keterbatasan anggaran dan waktu yang berbenturan. Solusi yang diterapkan yaitu berkolaborasi dengan orangtua serta penyesuaian jadwal latihan bersama peserta didik (3) Ekstrakurikuler dalam pembinaan prestasi peserta didik berperan penting dalam meningkatkan keterampilan hidup dan prestasi peserta didik.***** This research aims to determine the development of students in achieving achievements through extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 2 Kuningan, West Java. The sub-focus of the research is fostering student achievement, student achievement, and extracurricular activities in fostering participant achievement. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection through interviews, observation, documentation studies. The informants for this research were the Deputy Principal for Student Affairs, Deputy Principal for Curriculum, Extracurricular Teachers, and Students. The research results show that: (1) Development of student achievement is carried out systematically and in stages, starting from recognizing students' interests and talents, (2) Achievements have been achieved in academic and non-academic fields at district to national level. The driving factors are the human resources of the supervising teachers, high motivation, support from parents and schools. The obstacles experienced were budget limitations and time conflicts. The solution implemented is collaborating with parents and adjusting training schedules with students, (3) Extracurricular activities in developing student achievement play an important role in improving student life skills and achievement.
