Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh efikasi diri dan dukungan sosial terhadap eksplorasi karier pada peserta didik SMK Negeri di Kota Bogor. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas 12 SMK Negeri di Kota Bogor dengan sampel sebanyak 340 peserta didik. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen General Self Efficacy Scale (GSES), Child and Adolescent Social Support Scale (CASSS), dan Career Exploration Survey (CES) yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji analisis regresi linear berganda dengan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan dan parsial nilai sig. p adalah sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05) dan R2 adalah sebesar 0,773 sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif secara signifikan dan simultan antara efikasi diri dan dukungan sosial terhadap eksplorasi karier pada peserta didik SMK Negeri di Kota Bogor sebesar 77,3%. Jika efikasi diri dan dukungan sosial peserta didik meningkat, maka eksplorasi karier peserta didik juga akan meningkat. Maka dari itu, Guru BK dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri dan dukungan sosial peserta didik dengan cara mengadakan bimbingan klasikal dan bimbingan kelompok bertemakan strategi saat menghadapi tantangan, identifikasi kekuatan dan kelemahan diri, membangun persahabatan yang sehat dan mendukung, serta membangun rasa kebersamaan, mengadakan konseling menggunakan pendekatan Rational Emotive Therapy (RET), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), dan realitas (reality therapy) yang berbasis konseling multibudaya, seminar orang tua tentang dukungan sosial, dan kolaborasi dengan stakeholder di sekolah. ***** This study aims to determine the influence of self-efficacy and social support on the career exploration of students in SMK Negeri (State Vocational High School) in Bogor City. The population of the study was 12th-grade students of SMK Negeri in Bogor City. The number of samples was 340 students. Sampling used a proportional random sampling technique. The method used was correlation with a quantitative approach. Data collection used the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES), Child and Adolescent Social Support Scale (CASSS), and Career Exploration Survey (CES) instruments, which have been tested for their validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 25. The results of the study showed that simultaneously and partially, sig. p value was 0.000 (<0.05), and R2 was 0.773. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive and simultaneous influence between self-efficacy and social support and career exploration of students in SMK Negeri in Bogor City of 77.3%. If the self-efficacy and social support of students increase, the career exploration of students will also increase. Therefore, guidance and counselling teachers can increase the self-efficacy and social support of students by holding classical guidance and group guidance with the theme of strategies when facing challenges, identifying personal strengths and weaknesses, building healthy and supportive friendships, and building a sense of togetherness, holding counseling using Rational Emotive Therapy (RET), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and reality therapy approaches based on multicultural counseling, parent seminar regarding social support, and collaboration with stakeholders at school.
