Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengertahui: (1) Perbedaan antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model project based learning dan siswa yang belajar menggunakan model contextual teaching and learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis (2) Perbedaan antara siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi dan siswa yang memiliki motivasi rendah terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis (3) Interaksi antara model project based learning dan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis (4) Perbedaan antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model project based learning dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan model contextual teaching and learning pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi (5) Perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang belajar menggunakan model project based learning dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan model contextual teaching and learning pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas V di SDN Pisangan Timur 13 tahun ajaran 2024/2025 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 40 orang yang terdiri dari 20 orang siswa kelas VA dan 20 orang siswa kelas VB. Penelitian ini berjenis eksperimen dan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS versi 27. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan yaitu observasi, tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model project based learning menghasilkan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang lebih tinggi yaitu mencapai (98) dibandingkan dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan model contextual teaching and learning yaitu mencapai (93). Terdapat interaksi secara signifikan antara model pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis melalui uji tukey dengan hasil 0,00 < 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Project Based Learning dan motivasi belajar memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. *****This study aims to determine: (1) The difference between students learning using the Project Based Learning model and those using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model in terms of critical thinking skills. (2) The difference between students with high motivation and those with low motivation in terms of critical thinking skills. (3) The interaction between the Project Based Learning model and learning motivation on critical thinking skills. (4) The difference in critical thinking skills between students learning with the Project-Based Learning model and those using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model among students with high learning motivation. (5) The difference in critical thinking skills between students learning with the Project-Based Learning model and those using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model among students with low learning motivation. This study was conducted on fifth-grade students at SDN Pisangan Timur 13 in the 2024/2025 academic year, involving a total of 40 students, consisting of 20 students from class VA and 20 students from class VB. This research is experimental, and the data processing was conducted using SPSS version 27. The instruments used in this study were observation, tests, and questionnaires. The research results indicate a significant effect, where students learning with the Project Based Learning model achieved higher critical thinking skills (98) compared to those learning with the Contextual Teaching and Learning model (93). A significant interaction was also found between the learning model and learning motivation on critical thinking skills through the Tukey test, yielding a result of 0.00 < 0.05. It can be concluded that the Project Based Learning model and learning motivation influence critical thinking skills.
