Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Six Thinking Hats terhadap keterampilan teks negosiasi pada siswa kelas X di SMAN 18 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen jenis quasi eksperiment atau eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan tipe nonequivalent control group desaign. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 18 Jakarta, yaitu kelas X-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-2 sebagai kelas kontrol, yang masing-masing berjumlah 36 siswa. Rata-rata nilai pretest pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 71,63 sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 65,03. Adapun rata-rata nilai posttest pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 90,87 sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 76,46. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis dengan uji-t, menunjukkan data pretest dan posttest pada kelas eksperimen adalah thitung = 7004 dan ttabel = 1994. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Metode Six Thinking Hats terhadap Keterampilan Teks Negosiasi Kelas X SMAN 18 Jakarta. Adanya pengaruh tersebut terlihat dari kenaikan nilai pada setiap aspek, seperti aspek struktur yang meliputi orientasi, permintaan, penawaran, kesepakatan dan penutup juga aspek kaidah kebahasaan yang meliputi kalimat efektif, bahasa persuasif, kalimat deklaratif, dan kalimat dialogis. Kata Kunci: Metode Six Thinking Hats, teks negosiasi, keterampilan, eksperimen ***** This study aims to determine the effect of the Six Thinking Hats method on the negotiation text skills of class X students at State Senior High School 18 Jakarta. This study uses a quasi-experimental or pseudo-experimental experimental method using the nonequivalent control group design type. The population in this study were class X students of State Senior High School 18 Jakarta, namely class X-1 as the experimental class and class X-2 as the control class, each of which consisted of 36 students. The average pretest score in the experimental class was 71,63 while the control class was 65,03. The average posttest score in the experimental class was 90,87 while the control class was 76,46. Based on the hypothesis test with the t-test, it shows that the pretest and posttest data in the experimental class are tcount = 7004 and ttable = 1994. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the Six Thinking Hats Method on the Negotiation Text skills of Class X State Senior High School 18 Jakarta. The existence of this influence can be seen from the increase in value in each aspect, such as the structural aspect which includes orientation, requests, offers, agreements and closings, as well as aspects of linguistic rules which include effective sentences, persuasive language, declarative sentences and dialogic sentences.
