Abstract

ABSTRAK Alifia Fariza Putri, “Peran Komunitas Plainfeminism dalam Mengedukasi Pencegahan Kekerasan Berbasis Gender Online”. Proposal Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2023. Penelitian ini secara garis besar bertujuan untuk menjelaskan latar belakang atau motivasi Komunitas Plainfeminism melakukan edukasi untuk pencegahan kekerasan berbasis gender online, menjelaskan bentuk edukasi yang dilakukan oleh Komunitas Plainfeminism sebagai upaya untuk pencegahan kekerasan berbasis gender online serta mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat yang dirasakan oleh Komunitas Plainfeminism dalam melakukan edukasi untuk pencegahan kekerasan berbasis gender online. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui teknik observasi, wawancara secara mendalam, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka pada dokumen terkait. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 7 orang yang terdiri dari 1 orang pembentuk komunitas Plainfeminism, 1 orang penanggungjawab kampanye bertema KBGO, dan 5 orang anggota komunitas Plainfeminism yang mengikuti kampanye berjudul “Kekerasan Berbasis Gender Online (KBGO)”. Penelitian ini dilakukan sejak Juni 2023 sampai Januari 2025. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan mengenai peran komunitas Plainfeminism dalam memberikan edukasi mengenai kekerasan berbasis gender online. Peran tersebut diwujudkan melalui upaya yang berikan oleh komunitas dengan segala kendala dan usaha untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat luas. Edukasi tersebut bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat untuk lebih sadar terhadap kasus KBGO yang marak terjadi. Peran dilihat melalui tanggapan anggota komunitas yang mengikuti kampanye dan acara bertemakan KBGO. Kata Kunci: Peran, Edukasi, Kekerasan Berbasis Gender. This research generally aims to explain the background or motivation of the Plainfeminism community in conducting education to prevent online gender- based violence, explain the form of education carried out by the Plainfeminism community as an effort to prevent online gender-based violence and describe the supporting and inhibiting factors felt by the community Plainfeminism in providing education to prevent online gender-based violence. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Research data was obtained through observation techniques, in-depth interviews, documentation and literature study of related documents. The research subjects consisted of 7 people consisting of 1 person who formed the Plainfeminism community, 1 person in charge of the online gender based violence campaign, and 5 members of the Plainfeminism community who took part in the campaign entitled "Online Gender-Based Violence (OGBV)". This research was conducted from June 2023 to January 2025. The results of this research explain the role of the Plainfeminism community in providing education about online gender-based violence. This role is realized through the efforts provided by the community despite all obstacles and efforts to provide education to the wider community. This education aims to provide understanding to the public to be more aware of the rampant KBGO cases. The role is seen through the responses of community members who take part in KBGO-themed campaigns and events. Keywords: Role, Education, Gender Based Violence.
