Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh supervisi akademik dan kompetensi profesional terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Islam Swasta di Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan teknik analisis jalur. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 223 guru yang bekerja di SMP Islam Swasta di Kecamatan Kalideres dan Cengkareng, dengan sampel sebanyak 69 guru yang dipilih dengan rumus Slovin. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui Google Form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik dan kompetensi profesional berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kinerja guru. Supervisi akademik juga berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kompetensi profesional guru. Penelitian ini memberikan saran bagi kepala sekolah dan guru untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru melalui kegiatan supervisi akademik dan pengembangan kompetensi profesional. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of academic supervision and professional competence on teacher performance in Private Islamic Junior High Schools in West Jakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods and path analysis techniques. The population of this study was 223 teachers working in private Islamic junior high schools in Kalideres and Cengkareng sub-districts, with a sample of 69 teachers selected with the Slovin formula. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire distributed through Google Forms. The results showed that academic supervision and professional competence directly affect teacher performance. Academic supervision also directly affects the professional competence of teachers. This research advises principals and teachers to improve performance through academic supervision activities and professional competency development.
