Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengimplementasian manajemen kinerja dalam peningkatan profesionalisme guru di SMKN 48 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan wawancara dengan informan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang akademik/kurikulum, dan guru. Penelitian dilakukan pada analisis kebutuhan kinerja guru, pengembangan karir, penghargaan dan pengakuan, serta perbaikan berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Analisis kebutuhan kinerja guru sudah dilakukan secara efektif dan efisien melalui identifikasi tujuan, pengumpulan data, hingga analisis indikator kinerja seperti kehadiran dan kemampuan pedagogik, melibatkan berbagai pihak seperti kepala sekolah, guru senior, dan siswa. 2) Pengembangan karir guru dilakukan melalui pelatihan, sertifikasi, dan program lanjutan, meski menghadapi tantangan anggaran dan regulasi memberikan manfaat besar bagi guru. 3) Penghargaan, baik dalam bentuk formal maupun nonformal, sudah memotivasi guru untuk berkontribusi aktif. 3) perbaikan berkelanjutan dilakukan melalui supervisi, survei, dan teknologi memastikan metode pengajaran tetap relevan dan inovatif. Namun dalam penerapannya, SMKN 48 Jakarta memiliki tantangan dan hambatan seperti sulitnya pemberian izin belajar dari dinas pendidikan bagi guru, kuota dan anggaran yang terbatas, serta motivasi guru masih rendah. Kata kunci: implementasi, manajemen kinerja, profesionalisme guru. (*****) This research aims to analyze the implementation of performance management in improving the professionalism of teachers at SMKN 48 Jakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection was conducted through observation, documentation study, and interviews with informants such as the principal, vice principal for academics/curriculum, and teachers. The research was conducted on the analysis of teacher performance needs, career development, rewards and recognition, and continuous improvement. The research results show that: 1) The analysis of teachers' performance needs has been carried out effectively and efficiently through goal identification, data collection, and analysis of performance indicators such as attendance and pedagogical skills, involving various parties such as school principals, senior teachers, and students. 2) Teacher career development is carried out through training, certification, and advanced programs, despite facing budget and regulatory challenges, it provides significant benefits for teachers. 3) Awards, both formal and informal, have already motivated teachers to contribute actively. 3) Continuous improvement is carried out through supervision, surveys, and technology to ensure teaching methods remain relevant and innovative. However, in its implementation, SMKN 48 Jakarta faces challenges and obstacles such as the difficulty in obtaining study permits from the education office for teachers, limited quotas and budgets, and low teacher motivation Keywords: the implementation, performance management, the professionalism of teachers.
