Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan suatu cara mengubah pola pikir, mengasah kemampuan analitik, dan membuat kehidupan lebih baik bagi manusia dan alam. Pendidikan formal masih belum terakses semua orang, Pendidikan Non Formal hadir bagi orang-orang yang tidak dapat mengikuti pendidikan formal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran relawan yayasan asah asih asuh dalam pelayanan pendidikan masyarakat, kegiatan yang diselenggarakan oleh yayasan, dan kendala-kendala yang dihadapi oleh yayasan asah asih asuh sebagai penyedia layanan. Responden penelitian ini merupakan relawan, pengurus yayasan, dan peserta didik. Jumlah informan sebanyak 7 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi terhadap relawan, pengurus yayasan, dan peserta didik. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa relawan memiliki peran sebagai pendidik dan penggerak organisasi. Education is a way to change a mindset, sharpen analytic skill, and make life better for humans and nature. Education still not accessible for everyone, Non Formal Education was present to people that didn’t get formal education. This research aims to know the volunteer role in Asah Asih Asuh Foundation in community education services, the activities that held by foundation, and the obstacles that faced by Asah Asih Asuh Foundation as a service provider. The respondents of this research are the volunteers, the foundation management, and a student. All respondent as many as 7 persons. This research using descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data collecting technique using interview and observation to the volunteers, the foundation management, and a student. The result of this research shows that the volunteers have the role as an educator and a drive of organization.
