Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media video animasi dalam upaya pencegahan stunting terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu rumah tangga yang memiliki Balita di Puskesmas Kelurahan Pulogebang. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 20 ibu rumah tangga yang terdaftar dalam program Poli Gizi di puskesmas tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain pre-eksperimental, yaitu one group pre-test post-test design. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes instrumen dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif serta statistik nonparametrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media video animasi dalam pencegahan stunting secara signifikan meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu rumah tangga. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan kenaikan skor rata-rata pengetahuan dari 51,75 pada pre-test menjadi 85 pada post-test. Uji tanda menunjukkan nilai probabilitas sebesar 0,000, yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan media yang tepat, seperti video animasi, efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta penyuluhan. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan media video direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif atau pelengkap yang efektif dalam kegiatan penyuluhan. Kata Kunci: Penyuluhan, Media Video Animasi, Stunting ***** This study aims to determine the effect of using animated video media in efforts to prevent stunting on increasing the knowledge of housewives who have babies at the Pulogebang Village Health Center. The study sample consisted of 20 housewives registered in the Nutrition Poly program at the health center. This study used an experimental method with a pre-experimental design, namely one group pre-test post-test design. Data were collected through instrument tests and analyzed using descriptive statistics and nonparametric statistics. The results showed that the use of animated video media in preventing stunting significantly increased the knowledge of housewives. This is evidenced by the increase in the average knowledge score from 51.75 in the pre-test to 85 in the post-test. The sign test showed a probability value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the use of appropriate media, such as animated videos, is effective in increasing the knowledge of counseling participants. Therefore, the use of video media is recommended as an effective alternative or complement in counseling activities. Keywords: Counseling, Animated Video Media, Stunting Prevention
