Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode pictorial riddle terhadap pembentukan karakter bersahabat pada siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kebalen 02, Kecamatan Babelan, Bekasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen murni yang menggunakan desain berupa pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert dan instrumen pengamatan. Adapun perhitungan analisis data menggunakan uji-t dengan hasil perhitungan, yakni thitung diperoleh angka sebesar 4,696 dan ttabel untuk taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 dengan df = 58 yakni sebesar 2,00. Ketika hasil perhitungan thitung lebih dari ttabel, maka sebagaimana pengambilan keputusan dalam uji hipotesis menyatakan bahwa hipotesis nol ditolak atau hipotesis kerja diterima. Hal ini menerangkan, penerapan metode pictorial riddle berpengaruh positif terhadap pembentukan karakter bersahabat pada siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Se-Kecamatan Babelan Bekasi. Dengan demikian, metode pictorial riddle dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif pembelajaran dalam membentuk karakter bersahabat pada siswa di sekolah dasar. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the pictorial riddle method to becoming of friendly characters in fifth grade students at Kebalen 02 Elementary School, Babelan, Bekasi. This research was conducted in January 2020. This type of research is quantitative research with true-experimental methods that use a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample was taken using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a Likert scale questionnaire and observation instruments. The calculation of data analysis using t-test with the results of calculations, namely tcount obtained a number of 4.696 and ttable for the significance level α = 0.05 with df = 58 which is equal to 2.00. When the calculation results of tcount is more than ttable, then as the decision making in the hypothesis test states that the null hypothesis is rejected or the working hypothesis is accepted. This explains, the application of the pictorial riddle method has a positive effect to becoming of friendly characters in fifth grade students in elementary schools in the Babelan District of Bekasi. Therefore, the pictorial riddle method can be used as an alternative learning in forming friendly characters in students in elementary schools.
