Abstract

Body image adalah sikap yang dimiliki seseorang terhadap tubuhnya yang dapat berupa penilaian positif dan negatif. Body image atau citra tubuh yang akan dialami pada usia remaja belum dipahami oleh beberapa peserta didik khususnya peserta didik kelas X SMA Al-Azhar 8. Hal ini menyebabkan peserta didik mengalami kurangnya kepercayaan diri. Sehingga, penelitian ini memanfaatkan media yang dapat memberikan informasi mengenai body image bagi peserta didik pada usia remaja. Video body image merupakan salah satu media yang dapat menayangkan informasi mengenai body image atau citra tubuh yang sedang dialami pada usia remaja. Kemudian bimbingan klasikal adalah bimbingan yang diberikan kepada sejumlah siswa yang tergabung dalam suatu satuan kegiatan pengajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini membuat sebuah produk video mengenai body image bagi remaja melalui bimbingan klasikal di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu produk berupa video sebagai media layanan bimbingan klasikal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development (R&D) model ADDIE. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kebutuhan, desain produk video, pengembangan video, dan validasi ahli (ahli media, ahli materi) serta uji coba pengguna dan uji coba layanan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa video sebagai media informasi mengenai body image untuk peserta didik usia remaja. Hasil keseluruhan produk video body image memperoleh kategori sangat efektif dengan nilai rata-rata 81%. Dilihat dari uraian di atas dapat dijelaskan bahwa, produk video dapat memberikan informasi tentang body image bagi remaja di sekolah. *********** Body image is one’s behavior towards their own body in the form of negative and positive opinion. Body image has not been well understood by several students particularly of grade 10 in SMA Al-Azhar 8. This leads to low self-esteem. Therefore, this study utilized media that could provide information regarding body image in teenager students. Body image video is one kind of media that could provide information regarding body image which is currently experienced by teenager. Classical guidance is a guidance given to number of students enggaged in a learning activity. Hence, this study resulted in a video-based product regarding body image for teenager through classical guidance at school. This study aimed to generate a video-based product as classical guidance service. Method used was ADDIE’s model of research and development (R&D). Steps of the study include needs analysis, video product design, video advancement and expertise validation (expertise in media, expertise in material) as well as user and service testing. This study developed a video-based product as information media regarding body image addressed to teenager students. The entire product of body image video earned very effective result with an average score of 81%. According to the above, it was demonstrated that video-based product could provide information regarding body image for teenager at school.
