Abstract

*Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aspek-aspek sosial-budaya Prancis yang terkandung di dalam buku ajar Tendance A1, berdasarkan teori yang dipaparkan Cadre Européen Commun de Référence pour les Langues (CECRL) pada tahun 2001. Selain itu, peneliti juga ingin mengetahui bagaimana buku ajar tersebut merepresentasikan budaya Prancis pada materi pembelajaran. Hal tersebut dikarenakan pembelajaran budaya sangat erat kaitannya dengan pembelajaran bahasa terutama bahasa asing. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan metode analisis isi. Sumber data yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah buku ajar Bahasa Prancis Tendance A1 yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2016 dan ditujukan untuk para pembelajar bahasa Prancis pemula dewasa. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa teks dari 3 unit pembelajaran yaitu, lecon 0 unite 1,2,3. Teks pembelajaran yang dimaksud, diambil dari teks-teks pembelajaran, rubrik point infos, dan transcript dari video pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada 6 dari 7 aspek budaya yang ditemukan pada buku Tendance A1 menurut CECRL (2001). Jumlah data yang ditemukan sebanyak 37 representasi data dengan rincian sebagai berikut, 18 representasi budaya yang pada aspek kehidupan sehari-hari (La vie quotidienne), 8 representasi budaya pada aspek nilai-nilai, kepercayaan dan perilaku yang berhubungan dengan faktor-faktor dan parameter (Valeurs, croyances, et comportements en relation à des facteurs ou à des paramètres), 5 representasi budaya pada aspek hubungan interpersonal (Les relations interpersonelles), 2 representasi budaya pada aspek taraf hidup (Les conditions de vie), 2 representasi budaya pada aspek tata krama (Savoir-vivre), 2 representasi budaya pada aspek perilaku ritual (Comportements rituels). Adapun satu aspek budaya yang tidak ditemukan adalah aspek bahasa tubuh (Langage du Corps).* *The Objective of this research is to discover the socio-cultural aspects contained in French textbooks based on the cultural aspects explained by Cadre Européem Commun Référence pour les Langues (CECRL). Then, this research also aims to find out how French culture is represented in French textbooks used during the process of learning the French language. The reason behind this research is the importance of cultural knowledge in language learning, especially in foreign language learning, because culture and language are inseparable.This research uses a qualitative approach using content analysis methods. The data source used by researchers is the French language textbook Tendance A1 which was published in 2016. That book is intend for adult beginner learners. Furthermore, the researcher used text learning material as data for this research. All of the text comes from the learning video transcript and also the practice text contained in the first 4 chapters of the textbook Tendance A1. The results of this research show that 6 of the 7 socio-cultural aspects contained in the French textbook, Tendance A1, according to CECRL. The 6 aspects cultural are found in 37 data representations with the following details, 18 cultural representations containing aspects of daily life (la Vie Quotidienne), 8 cultural representations containing aspects containing aspects of values, beliefs and behavior related to factors and parameters (Valeurs, croyances, et comportements en relation à des facteurs ou à des paramètres), 5 cultural representations containing aspects containing aspects of interpersonal relations (les Relations Interpersonnelles), 2 cultural representations containing aspects containing aspects of living standards (les Conditions de vie), 2 cultural representations containing aspects containing aspects of manners (Savoir-vivre), 2 cultural representations containing aspects containing aspects of ritual behavior (Comportements rituels). However, no cultural representation was found that containing aspects of body language (Langage du Corps).*
