Abstract

Literasi botani berperan penting dalam memahami fungsi tumbuhan dalam ekosistem dan kehidupan. Namun, keterbatasan instrumen yang berfokus pada topik botani mengakibatkan kemampuan literasi botani peserta didik belum dapat diketahui secara pasti. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen tes literasi botani dengan menguji validitas dan reliabilitasnya serta mengukur kemampuan literasi botani peserta didik SMA. Penelitian pengembangan ini menerapkan tahapan model ADDIE. Instrumen disusun berdasarkan materi botani yang diajarkan di sekolah yang terdiri dari empat dimensi literasi botani. Sebanyak 30 butir soal dikembangkan. Uji validitas oleh ahli dilakukan pada isi materi, konstruksi, dan bahasa oleh dua validator. Validitas empiris dilakukan dengan uji coba soal kepada 35 peserta didik SMA kelas 12. Hasil analisis memperoleh 22 soal valid dan 8 soal tidak valid dan uji reliabilitas soal diperoleh skor 0,78 yang berarti memiliki reliabel yang tinggi. Sebanyak 14 soal termasuk kategori kesukaran sedang, 5 soal kategori mudah, dan 3 soal kategori tinggi. Hasil uji daya beda terdapat 3 soal termasuk kategori baik, 13 soal kategori cukup, dan 6 soal kategori jelek. Hasil rata-rata tes kemampuan literasi botani peserta didik adalah 55,05 dengan kategori rendah yang dapat disebabkan oleh minat peserta didik, self efficacy, dan instrumen tes yang digunakan. Instrumen Tes Literasi Botani dapat diterapkan pada sekolah dengan standarisasi menengah. ***** Botanical literacy plays a crucial role in understanding the function of plants in ecosystems and life. However, the limited availability of instruments focusing on botanical topics has resulted in an unclear assessment of students' botanical literacy skills. Therefore, this study aims to develop a botanical literacy test instrument by evaluating its validity and reliability while also measuring the botanical literacy skills of high school students. This developmental research follows the stages of the ADDIE model. The instrument was designed based on botanical material taught in schools, consisting of four dimensions of botanical literacy. A total of 30 test items were developed. Expert validity testing was conducted on content, construction, and language by two validators. Empirical validity was tested through a trial involving 35 twelfth-grade high school students. The analysis results showed that 22 test items were valid, while 8 were not. The reliability test yielded a score of 0.78, indicating high reliability. Regarding difficulty levels, 14 questions were classified as moderate, 5 as easy, and 3 as difficult. The discrimination index analysis revealed that 3 questions were categorized as good, 13 as fair, and 6 as poor. The average botanical literacy test score among students was 55.05, classified as low. This result may be influenced by factors such as students' interest, self-efficacy, and the test instrument used. The Botanical Literacy Test Instrument can be applied in schools with a medium standardization level.
