Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen ekstrakurikuler E-Sports di SMA 1 PSKD Jakarta. Sub fokus penelitian ini adalah perencanaan ekstrakurikuler E-Sports, pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler E-Sports, dan Hambatan yang dihadapi dan cara mengatasi hambatan tersebut dalam pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler E-Sports di SMA 1 PSKD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara serta studi dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini meliputi : Pembina ekstrakurikuler E-Sports , Pelatih ekstrakurikuler E-Sports, Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kesiswaan, dan Anggota aktif ekstrakurikuler E-Sports. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Perencanaan Ekstrakurikuler E-Sports berawal dari diskusi rutin antara kepala sekolah dan OSIS; (2) Pelaksanaan Ekstrakurikuler E-Sports dilakukan setelah penetapan dari kepala sekolah, dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler E-Sports terdapat materi dan peraturan bagi setiap peserta didik yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler E-Sports; (3) Hambatan saat awal pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler E-Sports diantaranya tidak ada contoh, masalah pendanaan, dan stigma orang tua. Hambatan awal diatasi dengan learning and experimenting, masalah pendanaan diatasi dengan mencari sponsor atau partnership dengan memanfaatkan sosial media, hambatan ketiga diatasi dengan komunikasi yang baik dengan orang tua. This research was conducted at SMA 1 PSKD Jakarta, which aims to find out the process of planning and implementing extracurricular of E-Sports. Such as planning, implementing, and how to overcome these problems that encoutered. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection is done through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Sources of data from this study are: chairman, trainer of extracurricular E-Sports, School Principal, Vice Principal of Student Affairs, and active member of E-Sports. Research shows that; (1) E-Sports Extracurricular Planning is carried out from routine discussions between school principals and student council; (2) E-Sports Extracurricular activities are carried out after the determination of the school principal, in the implementation of E-Sports extracurricular activities there are material and regulations for each participating student E-Sports extracurricular; (3) Problems at the beginning of E-Sports extracurricular implementation such as have no examples, funding problems, and the stigma of parents. First problems were addressed with learning and experimenting, funding issues were addressed by seeking sponsorship or partnership by utilizing social media, the third obstacle was addressed with good communication with parents.
