Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: mengetahui apakah ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sehingga mencapai kkm,dengan menerapkan metode Problem Based Learning pada pelajaran sistem rem. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas, yang pada prosesnya menerapkan metode Problem Based Learning. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilakukan dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi.Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TKR di SMK 1 KOTA BEKASI dengan jumlah 30 siswa.Sistematika pelaksanaan penelitian ini menerapkan dua siklus. Siklus I didasarkan studi pendahuluan, penelitian dilakukan di kelas dengan menggunakan media proyektor dengan memberi pertanyaan tentang sistem rem dalam diskusi kelompok siswa. Pelaksanaan siklus II berdasarkan refleksi siklus I, pelaksanaan penelitian di kelas dilakukan dengan membuat kelompok diskusi yang lebih banyak. Dalam pembelajaran sistem rem sebagai pendukung presentasi siswa dan mengaktifkan siswa dengan diskusi antar kelompok. Observasi dilaksanakan untuk merekam data aktivitas belajar siswa. Hasil belajar diukur menggunakan postest pada tiap-tiap siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sistem Rem dengan menggunakan metode Problem Based Learning. Selain peningkatan Hasil Belajar, peneliti juga melihat bahwa siswa telihat lebih aktif dalam mengikuti pelajaran sehingga menghasilkan peningkatan hasil belajar para siswa. Adanya peningkatan hasil belajar diketahui bahwa kelas XI TKR sebanyak 11 siswa mencapai nilai rentang 80-85, sebanyak 11 siswa mencapai nilai rentang 86-90, sebanyak 5 siswa mencapai nilai rentang 91-95, dan sebanyak 3 siswa mencapai nilai rentang 96100. Diketahui bahwa siswa XI TKR sebanyak 30 siswa atau 100% sudah mendapatkan nilai di atas KKM dengan nilai rata- rata 96.24. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa telah berhasil melewati nilai KKM yang ditentukan oleh sekolah dalam mata pelajaran Sistem Rem. Upgrading Process Learning Outcomes Of Brake Systems Using Problem Based Learning Strategic in Class Student XI TKR SMKN 1 Bekasi City This study aims: find out whether there is an increase in student learning outcomes so that it reaches kkm, by applying the Problem Based Learning method to the brake system lessons. This research is a type of classroom action research, which in the process applies the Problem Based Learning method. Classroom Action Research was carried out with stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class XI TKR in SMK 1 Bekasi city with a total of 30 students. The systematic implementation of this research applied two cycles. Cycle I was based on a preliminary study, research conducted in class using projector media by giving questions about the brake system in student group discussions. The implementation of cycle II is based on the reflection of cycle I, the implementation of research in class is done by creating more discussion groups. In learning the brake system as a support for student presentations and activates students with discussions between groups. Observations carried out to record student learning activity data. Learning outcomes are measured using posttest in each cycle. The results showed an increase in learning activities. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes in the subject Brake System using the Problem Based Learning method. In addition to improving learning outcomes, researchers also saw that students seemed to be more active in following the lessons, resulting in an increase in student learning outcomes. An increase in learning outcomes is known that the 11th grade TKR as many as 11 students reach a range of 80-85, as many as 11 students reach a range of 86-90, as many as 5 students reach a range of 91-95, and as many as 3 students reach a range of 96-100. It is known that XI TKR students as many as 30 students or 100% have scored above the KKM with an average grade of 96.24.
