Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis tindak tutur ekspresif kecemasan dalam film Jepang Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai (2017). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab dari kecemasan dan bagaimana tindak tutur ekspresif kecemasan dapat memengaruhi hubungan antarpesertatutur. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori tindak tutur Searle, kerangka kerja Intolerance of Uncertainty milik Freeston et al. (1994) sebagai acuan mengenai faktor penyebab kecemasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori pragmatik SPEAKING milik Hymes sebagai acuan mengenai pengaruh tindak tutur ekspresif kecemasan pada hubungan antarpesertatutur. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk menganalisis 26 data tindak tutur ekspresif kecemasan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik simak dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penutur menggunakan frasa seperti "fuan" "shinpai" dan "kinchou" disertai dengan perilaku seperti ragu-ragu dan menghindari kontak mata, yang menunjukkan keadaan emosional mereka selama ketidakpastian atau ketakutan. Tindak tutur ekspresif kecemasan juga memengaruhi hubungan, yang menumbuhkan empati antar penutur. Tindak tutur ekspresif kecemasan yang paling sering ditemukan merupakan ketidakpastian menyebabkan stres, hal ini membuktikan perjuangan penutur untuk mengatasi situasi yang penuh tekanan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang tindak tutur ekspresif kecemasan dalam media Jepang, yang bermanfaat bagi pembelajar bahasa dan peneliti dalam pragmatik dan komunikasi lintas budaya. ***** This study analyzes the expressive speech acts of anxiety in the Japanese film Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai (2017). The purpose of this study is to determine the factors causing anxiety and how expressive speech acts of anxiety can affect relationships between speakers. The theory used in this study is Searle's speech act theory, Freeston et al's. (1994) Intolerance of Uncertainty framework as a reference regarding the factors causing anxiety. This study uses Hymes' pragmatic SPEAKING theory as a reference regarding the influence of expressive speech acts of anxiety on relationships between speakers. Descriptive qualitative methods are used to analyze 26 data on expressive speech acts of anxiety. The data collection technique used is the listening and note-taking technique. The results showed that speakers used phrases such as "fuan" "shinpai" and "kinchou" accompanied by behaviors such as hesitation and avoiding eye contact, which indicate their emotional state during uncertainty or fear. Expressive speech acts of anxiety also affect relationships, which foster empathy between speakers. The most frequently found expressive speech act of anxiety is uncertainty causes stress, which proves the struggle of speakers to cope with stressful situations. This study provides insight into expressive speech acts of anxiety in Japanese media, which is useful for language learners and researchers in pragmatics and cross-cultural communication.
