Abstract
Bahasa JANTEN merupakan salah satu bahasa daerah yang terdapat di Indonesia, harus dijaga agar tidak punah sebagai bagian dari warisan budaya Indonesia. Namun, masyarakat lebih memilih memfokuskan minatnya pada bahasa asing, sehingga status JANTEN kini terabaikan dan dianggap tidak menjadi perhatian utama. Oleh karena itu, Bahasa JANTEN memerlukan strategi pelestarian yang dirancang sejak dini, dimulai dari tingkat pendidikan dasar khusunya di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Multimedia interaktif berbasis SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, dan Review) adalah salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk melatih dan meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa. Namun, pada siswa ditingkat SD masih membutuhkan perangkat tambahan untuk menunjang aktivitas pembelajaran, Multimedia berbasis Microsoft Power Point (PPT) merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran berbasis TIK, yang dapat membantu guru dalam menyusun sebuah presentasi yang efektif, professional, dan juga mudah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk berupa multimedia interaktif berbasis SQ3R dalam bentuk Power Point pada pembelajaran Bahasa JANTEN kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tahun ajaran 2022-2023 dengan populasi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Pontang, Kabupaten Serang. Penelitian ini merupakan research and development dengan integrasi model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, & evaluation). Berdasarkan validasi ahli baik aspek materi, media, Bahasa, dan pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif Bahasa JANTEN berbasis SQ3R ini valid digunakan. Hasil uji coba perseorangan menyatakan bahwa respon siswa sebesar 96% dan 97,8% dengan kategori Efektif. Adapun hasil uji efektifitas melibatkan 125 siswa menggunakan desain pretest-postest menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif berbasis SQ3R efektif pada pembelajaran Bahasa JANTEN siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Teknik analisis data yang digunkan adalah Uji N-Gain Score dan Independent Sample tTest. Dengan demikian adanya multimedia interaktif Bahasa JANTEN dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang menarik minat siswa. Kata Kunci : Multimedia interaktif, SQ3R, Bahasa JANTEN ********************** DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA BASED ON SQ3R (SURVEY, QUESTION, READ, RECITE, AND REVIEW) IN BANTEN JAVANESE LANGUAGE LEARNING TO IMPROVE READING COMPREHENSION ABILITY OF GRADE IV ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS Uyu Muawwanah Abstract The JANTEN (Java-Bantenese) language is one of the regional languages in Indonesia, it must be maintained so that it does not become extinct as part of Indonesia's cultural heritage. In the meantime, individuals tend to concentrate their attention on foreign languages, leading to the neglect of JANTEN's status and its perceived lack of significance. Therefore, JANTEN language requires a preservation strategy that is designed early on, starting from the elementary school level, especially in grade IV of elementary school. Interactive multimedia based on SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review) is one of the learning models that can be used by teachers to train and improve students' reading comprehension skills. However, elementary school students still need additional devices to support learning activities. Multimedia based on Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT) is one of the ICT-based learning media, which can help teachers in compiling an effective, professional, and easy presentation. This study aims to produce a product in the form of interactive multimedia based on SQ3R in the form of Power Point in JANTEN language learning for grade IV of elementary school. This research was conducted in the 2022-2023 academic year with a population of grade IV elementary school students in Pontang District, Serang Regency. This research is a research and development with the integration of the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Based on expert validation in terms of material, media, language, and learning, it shows that the interactive multimedia of the JANTEN Language based on SQ3R is valid for use. The results of individual trials stated that student responses were 96% and 97.8% with the Effective category. The results of the effectiveness test involving 125 students using a pretest-posttest design showed that interactive multimedia based on SQ3R was effective in learning the JANTEN language of grade IV elementary school students. The data analysis techniques used were the N-Gain Score Test and the Independent Sample t-test. Thus, the interactive multimedia of the JANTEN Language can be used as a learning medium that attracts students' interest. Keywords: Interactive multimedia, SQ3R, JANTEN (Java-Bantenese) language
